In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. The brisket was so good and so were the ribs. We made a huge pickup order and everyone enjoyed everything. The food was so delicious!! Great price for what you get. The Mac and cheese was really good too. I would say the only thing everyone in our group didn’t care for were the French fries. They are to thick.

Please check the drive thru orders before you take off. One side order was missing went back to the restaurant Manager gave me a new order with a free desert then got home still missing a different side. The desert offset it. Too tired to go back again. Manager was great. Get a scanner and get scanned labels on each item to match the orders in the receipt

This was the first and last time I will visit this location, I ordered online to pick up and right when I get there they where still getting the order ready which was good since that means I’ll get it nice and warm when I get home, to my surprise first when my order is ready someone just plops my order on the counter doesn’t even acknowledge me to let me know my food was ready I had to ask someone else if that was my food, they said it was I grabbed it and walked out only to get home to realize no eggs and a missing biscuit, I’m still chill cause all it is a quick run back with my receipt to get the items that are missing, so i head back and to get the items when i get there the person helping me originally lets them know the items are needed and they get the items quick, but a family was in line on the indoor side and the person that was helping me decided to take their order before handing me my food, by the time I got home the food was cold, so at the end of it all just felt kind like I didn’t have to go back if you would have done your job right if you don’t want to do your job find something else to do, the fact that I was ignored twice kind of sucks. Get your customer service practices correct then you’ll have more customers.

Sevice (customer service) decent. On the other hand when it comes to the rules of how I can have my meal it’s questionable. I ordered the pulled pork meal. Sandwich w/fries and drink. Sandwiche come with coleslaw.. I asked for it on the side just in case I didn’t like the slaw flavor from here. I was told NO, they can only give it to me if its on the sandwich.

Haven’t been in months to this location because they always forget something n take awhile ..I’m just putting this review because I was really impressed today with thee brisket it has a great stronger different taste of seasoning ..very pleased with that and also happy with thee runner who took out my food he was vey cheerful compared to thee cashier I can tell she didn’t want to be there on this busy day

Order the rancher plate $20 plate, Didn’t even get proportionate servings of my green beans or hash brown sides. It was literally a half a scoop. I put my fork in and half of it was gone for $20. You could at least fill up the plastic to go tray to the line. Smaller amounts of brisket and not even a link of sausage but like half link, this Location is trash!!! Save yourself and go to a different location or eat something else

Our daughter thought the presents were REAL!LOL She tried rummaging through them and we told her to stop n sit down…the cashier came over and we tried to scare her saying “the ladies getting mad” hurry she’s coming over here… But then the cashier said Santa doesn’t bring gifts to children who peek in presents lol so we all had a good chuckle as she fixed the presents in order again…I wish I got her name she was so sweet. We came in about 2pm on a Thursday dec.3 rd a Friday I believe if that helps. We had a great lunch. My wife likes marble meat and I like the breast! We’re talking brisket n chicken here people…even had some pie for dessert. Everything was hot n fresh and we ate at a reasonable price for three. Average Cost was about $30-40 bucks. Plenty of parking, clean dining area, and clean restrooms. This was a repeat visit and we will be back again…the Xmas decorations were nice btw
