not a single employee i experienced today that wasn’t miserable. was having self checkout issues for about 5 minutes with an employee right behind me before i finally turned around and asked nicely for help, received major attitude and dirty looks to the point i literally said “sorry to bother you” because that’s exactly what it felt like, replied “it’s fine.” in an annoyed tone. absolutely rude.

Brittany has to be the rudest employee I have ever encountered at a wawa. I look forward to visiting this wawa every time I am in town, and this experience was terrible. She didn’t say hello and held no conversation, then when I said, I forgot my bag in the car she’s like you can purchase one for $.30 and leave it in your car in the most disrespectful tone. The lack of ability to have a conversation or understand someone’s frustration when they forgot their bag really set me off, and then we were trying to get our stuff. She just started staring at us angrily because the line was building behind us. Wasn’t looking for a free bag, was just looking smile and some understanding. The lack of people skills this woman has should be addressed. Even my aunt who is the sweetest woman in the world reminded me to write this review because she was so upset by the way Brittany treated us.

The food and the preparation of the food was great! That’s not the issue. When we went to checkout, the cashier Brittney gave us a very rude look as we handed her our money because one of the bills wasn’t unfolded. She gave us the worst attitude and stared us down as she opened the bill. Totally uncalled for!

There was a food worker preparing food. I saw this lady take her hand with her gloves on and wiped her nose and continued preparing patrons food. I informed her supervisor of this. The supervisor spoke with her and asked that she wash her hands and put on new gloves. The food she was preparing had to be thrown away. The supervisor prepared my food. Kudos to her. Please be careful and go at your own risk. This worker was rude to me because she was being held accountable for her disgusting work ethic. I am sure this was not her 1st time doing this. This happened Saturday, November 2, 2024 during breakfast. I won’t be going back. Yuck.

The young men who pump the gas are very friendly and efficient as a whole. There are plenty of pumps and the wait is usually short, if there is a wait at all. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because if I buy exclusively Wawa gas, my car will develop a problem with moisture in the gas. A bottle of dry gas will fix it but I risk losing power. So I go elsewhere as often as is convenient.

When did Wawa start using day old bread for its hoagies? I thought they baked their own bread. The hoagie I just picked up for lunch was terrible. It may have been the first time I ever got a roll like that at Wawa. If it wasn’t a 3 mi trip back, I would have returned it.
