Food was okay,, went on a Friday evening at around 8 pm. Everything was cold except the chow mein and fried rice which they had just brought out, a lot of the food lacked salt and again, cold. The one good dish was the hibachi area because we could get hot food and douse it in teriyaki sauce so there was flavor there. The ice cream scoop was in some water which was fine but the water was murky and had particles in it so we just avoided that. Would recommend going during lunch it seems a lot of the food carried over from then.

Was it bad? No, was it good? It was okay. The service was eh. Was it worth $20 for dinner? Definitely not. The selection was not that good to be honest, I think this might be the worse selection I’ve had my whole life. The sushi was very sad. Soup tasted like water. Dumplings, idk what to think of it. I think the chicken was the best part to be honest. Food wasn’t that fresh. I saw the some of the same food being sat out the whole time we were there.. then I check if it’s cold to see if it’s “safe” and it warm.. so idk if it’s completely food safe.. Again it is not terrible. The server we had showed up half way into us being there, very adorable kind man. Loved him. But he was the highlight of the whole night. I don’t feel sick so far, so that’s a good sign.

Arrived at 6:25 and there was plenty of parking and seats available, by the time we left at 7:25 the restaurant was about full with people waiting in line to get in! The food was incredible. The salmon and crawfish weren’t great, kinda flavorless, but nothing tasted ‘bad’, even the sushi was good, not amazing, but good. The real shining stars here are the fruit and the chicken! There are so many different kinds of chicken and all cooked perfectly, tender and juicy, especially the terriyaki chicken on a stick. Service was great, the staff was very attentive, our waitress came to check on us frequently, she never even let our drinks get half empty! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, the only complaint i have is that the cup straws are just a tad bit too short! Other than that, it was a great experience. The bill for two adults at dinner came out around $45. I highly recommend Ocean Buffet if you like Chinese food. They have the obligatory pizza and fries for the kids, too!

Ocean Buffet is a great spot for lovers of diverse cuisine. There’s a wide variety of food – from sushi and seafood to classic Asian and American dishes. The food is fresh and frequently restocked. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean and spacious. It’s a perfect place for a family lunch or dinner – definitely worth a try!

This place is super under-rated. This is the 2nd and 3rd time that I have been here. This spot is located by Fort Walton Beach/Mary Esther.
Parking lot is huge and they also have rear parking for trailer parking. I came here on a Saturday night and Friday night around 6:30p and surprisingly the crowd was light both nights.
This place is great! The crawfish is huge, fresh, and tasty. We had maybe 4 plates. They also give you a nice big bowl to place the crawfish shells into. The selection here is big and the made to cook hibachi is very tasty. They have different selections that your typical Chinese buffet doesn’t have. I enjoyed the stuffed jalapeño, mussels, and coconut shrimp here. The sushi wasn’t too tasty as it was old and hard.
The food is fresh and yet I just don’t understand the horrible reviews and low stars. This place is definitely a 3.5 to 4 star place. Comparing to all the low budget Chinese buffets that I have ever been to, this place is in the elite status.
The ice cream is one of the best quality I have ever had at a Chinese buffet. It’s hard to get because you have to scoop it yourself and not a machine.
I will definitely be coming back again when I am in town and I urge you to do the same.

Terrible service. Gross food. Partner vomited over rotten crawl fish he ate. Yellow stuff he threw up. When I told them they still had to make sure we paid all of it even do him. He has an upset stomach. Very disappointed in people! God bless! I forgive y’all! Noodles way over cooked. The crawl fish had a weird color to it. Meat tasted like spikes. I am not a mean person! I didn’t wanna sound rude but I’m sorry I just could not finish the plate. I gagged 5 times. Almost threw up. I should have took this to court but I didn’t. I’m thinking about doing it actually. Maybe and maybe not. It depends if he gets worse! Thanks, oh yeah there was a huge rat running infront of your building. Some of the crawl fish what we chose was green. I didn’t get to get that on camera but I witnessed him throwing up and me and him both saw that rat. NOTE TO THE PICTURE! The food was really good! I loved the frog legs and the coconut dessert it was good me and my family loves Chinese buffets and this hit the spot! In our home town we have one that we always go and recently they stopped serving frog legs and coconut dessert so I was very happy to see that this restaurant had them! Overall pretty good for a buffet lover! Not a lot of selection but you will get full pretty easily there!

My family and I like this buffet. They have variety of food and the seafood was fresh, especially the fried fish. I also like how they have rule, you have to pay extra $3 if they saw you have alot of food wasted. This place is a must to visit.
