We have had great service on the weekends before and decided to stop in today on a Friday. We waited 25 minutes and hadn’t gotten a chance to order food meanwhile our servicer a young blonde girl was chatting with 1 table for 10 minutes and then took the order of the table who got there after us and chatted with them for 15 more minutes. It go to the point that I put cash on the table for the coffee we did get and walked out, which she didn’t even seem to notice either.. I overheard that she only works Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays while she was gossiping with friends, i guess if we come back it will only be on the weekends again.

A nice coney experience right on the south side of Howell. Not too far from I96, very easily seen from the road, easy in and easy out. Lots of parking, lot is well lit. Food is hot, fresh and well prepared with good pricing and generous portions. Staff is friendly and quick, definitely stop by for a bite to eat.

The server we had (she was training a new girl) was so pleasant and personable. She was very attentive and completely understood my daughters love for crackers and didn’t even bat an eye when my daughter ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a bagel for lunch. The food was the next thing we were pleased with. My gyro was delicious! The potato and bacon soup was also very appetizing. The chicken noodle soup wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but my daughter enjoyed it. It wasn’t cheese heavy but was still very good. The tzatziki sauce seemed homemade and was a great thickness. My fiances meat lover skillet was a smaller than we were expecting but he wasn’t complaining. More of an observation than anything else. I would definitely stop at this restaurant again to have that gyro again.

decent Coney Island. I had a club sandwich. the turkey and ham seemed room temperature, there wasn’t enough bacon in my opinion. the chili cheese fries were great. I like the choice of shredded cheese, even though I went with the classic nacho cheese.
HERE’S THE PROBLEM….. THE KETCHUP WAS NASTY!!!!! LIKE IT HAS JUST BEEN FILLED AND FILLED AND REFILED. IT WAS SOUR, RUNNY, JUST NASTY. it almost ruined my meal, and the good time I had with pops.
the waitress’ are easy on the eyes
chilli cheese fries are the best.

Howell residents for 23 years. First time here
We order the breakfast special combo. Coney dog .
Chili fries.. Ruben sandwich .grilled chicken sandwich
Fish Sandwich.
Except for the fish sandwich. Got 1 fish with just the batter, no fish.
I highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich .tender not overcooked. It’s not over seasoned .it ok just your typical coney island food. I’m too lazy to cook food

This review is for their takeout orders. Never had a single issue ordering dine-in. There is a reason for that.
Despite the food being decent and the staff being plenty pleasant, if I could give this a 0 star, I would.
I live nearby. I have been ordering for over 5 years on and off.
The owner uses cheap Styrofoam containers that melt when hot food is placed inside and they do it all the time. Right off the grill, goes straight into the melting containers for takeout. It doesn’t happen for dine-in cuz, you know. It’s not placed grill-to-container. No other diner around has this problem.
I got fed up when I received my food and the container was thoroughly, visibly compromised. I had visible plastic in my food.
I had it remade and the second time it ALSO melted, despite lining it with foil.
I reported them to the health department for their egregious disregard for food safety.
Not only did the health department do nothing about it because the containers are “technically food grade” (clearly not), but the owner chose to retaliate instead of doing the right thing and take better care of their customers.
I received notice that I was banned for harassment the same week I reported them.
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
Been going for over 5 years and the moment I get fed up with plastic in my food and report it, I’m put on the chopping block. Love it.
It’s a nice enough place, but their takeout etiquette and food safety is hot garbage.
This was pretty expected since the owner is already uncaring about their customers and I don’t mind being banned a ton since I had already stopped visiting for over a year prior for obvious reasons, but dang bro.
Just… Don’t poison your customers.
Is that such a hard ask?
I KNOW I’m not the only one who has had this issue.
Just stop being so cheap.
Do better. Be better. It’s not hard.
People > profit.

Order two fried chicken dinners, came with tossed salad with watered down ranch dressing.(yuck) Our dinners came out, fried chicken was so crisp on the outside I could barely stab my fork into it. I chose the breast first, and after breaking through to the center of the breast it was still cold(frozen) inside, apparently they use banquet chicken. Frozen pre-cooked fried chicken. Mashed potatoes were lumpy, brown and basically disgusting. We got up from our table and told our server the food was inedible and walked out. Will never go back.

I ordered takeout for my family because they were doing a school fundraiser. The food was pretty good, but the salad portions didn’t make sense. I got a chicken Cobb salad that came in a large container, but the full-size greek salad that I ordered for my husband was very small. I bought it back inside to ask the girl who gave me my order if it was a full sized salad (we paid $10 for it) she confirmed it was correct. I couldn’t believe it, so I took a photo of the salads side by side (left-cobb/right-greek). Next time, we will go to Leo’s, where the salads are full sized.

Friendly service and decent breakfast food. I had a little girl in brown braids, about 5-6ish, come up and ask me if I needed anything. I didn’t realize she was one of the workers kids. Cutest thing I’ve had happen to me at a restaurant.
Service was fast, hash browns well done like I asked The lighting was a bit bright for my taste, fluorescent glow. Other than that it’s worth a visit.
I had an omega omelet and a side of sausage gravy.
