Its just crazy to get your order taken in a timely manner in the drive thru. They got employees doing another entire employees roles. Even if u order ahead. Mobile n pay. It doesnt matter. You could wait 30 minutes for a single double cheese burger.

Oh, where do I begin with the fine dining experience that is the McDonald’s in Palmdale? Truly a masterclass in how not to run a fast-food joint. I don’t know if corporate just gave up on tracking drive-thru and curbside times or if this location is simply pioneering a bold new “wait forever and maybe get your food” strategy. Either way, bravo.
Let me paint you a picture: you pull up expecting food in, say, a reasonable five minutes. Instead, you get to age gracefully in your car while someone inside debates whether making your order is worth the effort. And when the food does come? Don’t worry, you’ll definitely get a side of attitude with it. It’s like they went out of their way to hire the most unbothered people on Earth folks who treat customer service like it’s a personal inconvenience.
And remember that old “Over a billion served” slogan? Yeah, they must have hit their quota and decided they’re doing us a favor now. If you were hoping for warmth, efficiency, or even basic human decency, might I suggest… literally anywhere else?
So unless you enjoy long waits, icy stares, and questioning all your life choices while parked under golden arches, maybe try a different location or a different century.

Ugh our son wanted another burger and we ended up here again. We decided to get a macchiato. Due to videos on how gross ice is we never get ice, usually it’s about an inch or two below the top of the cup at every location today the container was half empty. Photo attached. We noticed a line on the cup(second photo with red circle) that I assume is the line it’s supposed to be at but it was way below. I understand ice takes up space in a cup and I’m okay with getting less drink but half a cup that’s not right.
We’ve been to this McDonald’s 2 days in a row. We were trying to buy a macchiato. The first day we were in line and they skipped us and chose the opposite car. There are two lanes at this one. When we were finally helped. We were told they didn’t have the cream for the macchiato. The second day there were four people in the right hand lane and one in the left. There was a gentleman sitting on the left lane asking for money or food or something and that’s why everybody went in the right lane. We decided to go on the left lane so we were the second car in line versus four other cars. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting for them to get us. They didn’t get the right lane either. I turned around and noticed they had lost out on three cars and while we were sitting there another car pulled up and then drove away so they lost five cars worth of business. They ended up taking the other car before us even though we had been sitting at the speaker. I don’t understand how they can get paid so much money to not be able to ever do a job properly. I just looked up a job. They’re offering $20 an hour for a McDonald’s team member.

This McDonald’s blows. Super long line at the drive thru so I go in to order at the kiosk. After 15 minutes they only hand one person their food inside. I then realize they’re only serving the people in the drive through and not the people waiting inside. The workers ignore the people inside trying to ask questions. This just might be status quo for all McDonald’s though.

Ordered thru the app 20 minutes before getting there. Once I get there still have to wait over 15 minutes. Service is horrible.they never have anybody in the front. By far the worst McDonald’s in the AV.

This McDonald’s has been extremely slow all 3 times that I’ve been there. The order number will say it’s ready but will take another 10 mins for the food to actually be handed out. Not an exaggeration. The floor is always dirty and today there was a cockroach inside. My kid stepped on it and told a worker but didn’t look like anyone was shocked or in a hurry to clean it up. We were grossed out and left. The best part is the kids play area though. The musical toys are awesome. The baby had a great time and there were 2 baby high chairs available.

I live near this location absolutely horrible inside is always a bad experience no assistance at counter unless your screaming at workers and your always at the counter because something is always wrong with almost every item ordered they do no offer free refills even though not having anything posted saying so and workers are as rude as can be i genuinely hate this location

Doesn’t matter how early ahead you place mobile order, it’s never ready when you go pick up. Long wait time. Seems to cater more to drive thru than inside pick up. Little bit of food and poor quality food.
