From a coffee perspective, they serve MadCap, so the source is good! . They have substantial rushes, so in the summer they don’t do pour overs or things that take longer because it doesn’t seem feasible for handling volume of customers. Staff did a good job managing the expectations of the line when their espresso machine went out (I was working there all day). Friendly staff, attractive and inviting atmosphere with nice outdoor seating during the summer as well. Their space is shared with Oddside Brewing which means most of the day they have substantial seating.

The Odd Side Sidebar has a nice ambience and a pleasant atmosphere, but the matcha was a big disappointment. Both my daughter and I ordered matcha lattes—mine unsweetened with almond milk, hers sweetened—and both were very watered down and lacking flavor. Even though we ordered them iced, they were served warm with ice in them. The barista told me she wouldn’t charge extra to add honey, but I was still charged. I didn’t say anything at the time, thinking it would be fine as long as the drink tasted good—which it didn’t. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend their matcha at all, and I won’t be back.

Excellent coffee shop in a great space. The coffee is delicious. I come from a family of coffee snobs & we were all super happy and each found something we loved. My personal favorite is the cafe miel. I was excited to see that they have gluten free pastries & was pleasantly surprised by how good they are! It’s also a great spot to work! The employees are all so nice.

Chill atmosphere, plenty of drinks to choose from with friendly staff. Place is clean with good music, a lobby with board games, power outlets for laptops, phones, etc. Great place to come for a drink and some games with friends.

They brew Madcap coffee here, and the nitro cold brew is dangerously good—smooth, bold, and one of my all-time faves with heavy cream. The service is always spot-on, and the outdoor seating is perfect for soaking up the vibe and people-watching while you sip. Love Side Bar ☕️
