BEST PLAIN CHEESE in WESTCHESTER
Ok, for all the Monday pizza droolers, Venetian Delight in Hartsdale has THE BEST plain cheese. I was always tempted to get the Monday special 16” pie for $10, and one day, I not only knocked it off my bucket list, but began a Monday night tradition that has me actually looking forward to starting the week.
It’s just so fresh, perfect undercarriage, crispy but not cracker-like, and the sauce and cheese are very flavorful and excellently proportioned. I haven’t tried anything else here, but I go every Monday for the plain cheese pizza.
If I don’t finish the pie to myself, I freeze the leftovers. It’s awesome. They really use fresh ingredients, care, and cleanliness. Great NY pizza joint.

I am giving one star just to write this review. This place is a ZERO. I went in today to pick up a large order that had been paid for. Right away, it was wrong. We asked for each container to be wrapped in plastic, and it was not. Now, this is Yonkers, which takes forever to get anywhere, so I left with only a partial order because I was told that was all. I was picking it up for my family and hadn’t placed the order myself. I asked if it was everything because i had a full order list in a text, i was told yes thank you and goodbye. 10 minutes after leaving, I was informed that “I” forget the pizza in the order. It was never given to me. I traveled 10 minutes back to pick up COLD PIZZA, They didn’t even make us new pies! Old cold, hard pizza! Now my other food is cold as well. Another 25 minutes, and I finally got this food home. It was flavorless, cold, just the worst. I know you know who this is. You owe my father a full refund for that horrible food. We have been customers for years, and this is how we were treated. What a shame.

After many times of passing by here, I finally visited Venetian Delight yesterday, June 6, 2024, for dinner. I sat on the pizzeria side as there was live music being played in the restaurant portion. I had the fried calamari as an appetizer. It was one of the best I have tasted since it was a nice seasoned blend of salt and pepper along with it being tender. The service was decent. Next, I ordered the chicken francese which was literally drenched in lemon but I liked the way it was prepared. For dessert, I had tiramisu and it was great as I could taste the coffee that was soaked in it. It is a nice restaurant to dine at and I will be back.

Amazing pizza . On Monday night the deal of the century especially in this economy is $9.95 without tax. The largest medium pie around 8 slices. All other pizzeria’s large is equalled to Venetian Delight Medium.
The taste is absolutely delicious. Perfect ratio of sauce to cheese to crust.
