My family and I decided to stop and try this place back in September before heading back home in the Panhandle of Florida. The restaurant is upstairs on the 2nd floor. We were seated but it took a few before the server came to see us. The menu had a variety of items to choose from. We ordered fried seafood platter, fried Green Tomatoes, twice baked potatoe and fries. It didn’t take too long for the food to come out and it was as ordered. Everything looked good but the twice baked potatoe wasn’t very good and the seafood platter also wasn’t to our liking. The steamed veggies were over cooked and mushy. Once our food was served the server didn’t come back to check on us. Once we decided to leave I had to get up and ask for our server and the check. There may be better food choices, we may try them again some day. There is also alligators on the outside/backside of the restaurant.

I have been to this terrific Restaurant 3 times in the past week and they are hands down my go to place. The Ruby is my fave dinner plate, but all other dinners were outstanding. Their homemade bread pudding…so good. Staff are all terrific and like family for their atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous.
I might just move from Florida to be closer… oh… Addie, the General Manager is the best. She made sure I’d be coming back to enjoy their food and conversation…
Oh, forgot to mention that this fine place will let boats dock at their Pavillion and clean their fish. Then they can pay $20 bring the fresh catch up to get cooked and have unlimited fries and hush puppies I think.
And it’s a terrific place for events and weddings in a venue under the restaurant.

Was our first time there…. Will definitely go back and recommend over any other restaurants on the Bayway!! Had the oyster Rockefeller they were the bomb. Got the seafood platter and grilled shrimp with the baked potatoes. Compliments to the chef (chefs). And our server was tremendous!!!!!

The host greeted us and told us to head to the bar while the rest of the party arrived the server captivated us miles gave us good service the food was very delicious and they gave us our on room and at the end the manger also gave us a round of oysters that we loved I definitely recommend 10/10

Our family ate at this location on 12/30/25. It was obvious that the restaurant happened to be short staffed that evening. Despite this obstacle, we were greeted with the warmest welcome. We experienced fabulous service and were provided perfectly prepared, delicious food. Our server, Addie, was a blessing to interact with. We truly had a great experience. Kudos Ralph & Kacoos!

This place was not our first choice (the other was closed) but wow! what a place! Tiffany did a spectacular job greeting customers and thanking them as they left. And Miles (the only one with a bald head [his words not mine ]) did a fantastic job hosting. I had the blackened shrimp, fried pickles, bread pudding, and a Marguerite that I drank to the last drop. I ate everything!!!! Forget the other place and go there!!! Give a 5 star like and then drop a like on this review if you don’t mind. Thank you

This was my first time at Ralph and Kacoo’s and it was a great first impression. The staff was sincere and friendly, which is not so common anymore.
Our waitress was very helpful. I couldn’t make up my mind, but her suggestions did not steer me wrong. I had the Chicken K-Jun Bleu. I had never had anything quite like this before. When I think of Cajun I don’t think of things smothered in cheese, but it works so well. The red beans & rice here makes an excellent side item.
The atmosphere was nice, with great a view and the aesthetic was classic but comfortable. You can come here as you are. I would not feel out of place here if I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt, nor would I feel uncomfortable in a suit.
The complementary hush puppies and tartar sauce were great and the appetizers were on par with the rest of my experience. I will definitely come back sometime when I’m in Mobile.

This place has the best food consistently and I’ll always stop here for another great experience. Addie the General Manager is the key to orchestrating a great experience every visit. Place is clean, and their staff is the best ever. I was fortunate enough to have Addie sitting across from me when she was reading a review that just came in from a 10-top table. I’ll attach all three photos… She didn’t see me snapping away…lol.
