Tons of selection! We weren’t sure what to expect when we went. The food was fantastic. Our servers were extremely friendly. We kinda let loose for my birthday there and had a couple drinks each. Those, plus the food and our bill was still very reasonable. Thought it would have been much more. Will be brining our friends next time. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is very cool! My SIL and I were visiting Portlamd from out of state and we honestly stumbled upon The Greenroom bar first. When entering, the bar was quiet and cozy. The hostess at the front was very welcoming. During initial conversation we had mentioned we were from out of town, just walking amd exploring and just happened to stumble upon the place. She told us about the bar and mentioned if we wanted to go to the Whiskey Library upstairs. She mentioned that the library was membership only basis, but the evening was winding down and there was availability for us to check it out. I am so glad she offered the chance, because what a cool place! We were offered the couch/lounge area, which really showcased the bar and the library of Whiskey. Our bartender and server were amazing. The drinks were delish and the food we got was also yummy. If you are ever offered the chance to go upstairs…TAKE IT! You will not regret it!

A local treasure. A remarkable collection of spirits served by knowledgeable and friendly servers woth somm-like expertise. The environment is loungy and welcoming, with a great vibe. The food quality was high, and the prices seemed quite fair goven the level of service, quality and overall atmosphere. If you arel lloking to learn more about bourbon, scotch or rye, this is your place, with over 1600 bottles. The specialty cocktail and wine lists were impressive. Highly recommended. If you’re not a member with a reservation, come early around 4pm, or late, after 9pm.

Friday night in Portland and the best way to end the evening was a visit to the Multnomah Whiskey Library. RSVP was made and we arrived just a few minutes early so as to take in the atmosphere. Just wow! Not sure the pictures will do justice, you know, after just a couple of libations. Know this: the selections of whiskeys appears endless and you can’t go wrong. Why? Because the staff is knowledgeable about their offerings–not sure which spirit you would.like? Just ask and their suggestion may be spot on for you. “May be…” Yep. We learned our taste buds differ from the book to the palate. As for food, we opted for the cheesburger, the popcorn and the oysters–no regrets! The Multnomah Whiskey Library is a must!!!

Everything was awesome. Drinks and ambiance was very cool (we did not eat food so cannot comment on that), exactly what we expected. Our servers and bartenders were great and very informative. If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely revisit

I came here years ago and I was excited to bring my boyfriend, an avid whiskey enthusiast. When we arrived the hostess asked if we had reservations to which I replied “no”. She was so kind and informed us that there is available seating and walked us in.

The library, itself, is dimly lit. The shelves of whiskeys from various regions and countries is inspiring. My boyfriend had a flight under the recommendation of the bartender. We had a great experience. We definitely recommend!

An incredible experience. Extremely knowledgeable bartenders who can point you in the right direction based on what you like. Reservations recommended. If walking in be prepared to wait.

Told the waiter I like High West. Waiter recommended the cabernet finish. I was thinking around $17 a pour because the two other High Wests on the menu (the only High Wests on the menu) came out to about $17 on average, yet on the receipt I was billed for $78 a pour, for “Prisoner Share”, which I’m pretty sure is a different bottle than the cab sauv finish. Unreal and shocking. Photos attached.

The manager has reached out and corrected the confusion and has more than made up for the experience.

You know how there’s a place where everybody knows your name but it’s *not* a ‘70s TV sit-com? We do. Every time at MWL. Genuine attentive hospitality by a lot. Special thanks to Julia Thurs. p.m. for keeping things flowing (from behind the Lounge bar). Great being greeted by Zoë (where do you find such good people?); really loved seeing Dan, Ophelia, Cody, Ian, Jackson, Dakota, and Ross … all-stars all around. And tell you what: Sam Malone and Coach couldn’t touch that new black cod entree we discovered. Oh man, Sue and I loved it. How that perfectly wet big-ocean fish lay atop a light spice sauce … and the woodsy maitake mushrooms and gardeny fresh cut herbs?! Whaaat? Delicious. Down our gullets and into our brains. Keep doing what you do! (Thank you, Chef Nick! We see you.)
