This hidden gem is an absolute crowd-pleaser and easily one of the best spots in Cleveland for chicken lovers. Crispy Chick is a women- and minority-owned restaurant that delivers bold flavors and comfort food done right. The chicken is always fresh, never frozen, made with wholesome ingredients and absolutely no MSG.
What really sets them apart is the attention to detail–every sauce and seasoning is made from scratch in-house, giving each dish a flavor that feels both homemade and elevated. From the crispy chicken to the refreshing house-made lemonade, everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and crafted with care.
On top of the food, the staff was super welcoming and friendly, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they take pride not just in the food, but also in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Food does take a minute but it’s all made fresh so worth the wait!
If you’re looking for quality comfort food with incredible flavor (and some seriously addictive sauces), this is a spot you won’t want to miss.

We are out of towners that stopped here for lunch after leaving the rock and roll hall of Fame. The food was served hot which I appreciate. Things we didn’t like – they would not allow substitutions. We don’t like coleslaw and at competitors switching to toast is no problem at all but here they will not allow it. Then we tried to get lemonade as the drink and apparently that would have cost $2 more than the other Pepsi products which was disappointing. The drink size that comes with the meal is child size. And then for sauce I got the BBQ and it was unusual. Very smokey flavor which did not compliment the batter of the chicken. Id recommend a different sauce. Overall it’s fine, pretty forgettable. Most likely wouldn’t go back.

1st time here. I’ve heard so much about this place and how good it was. We finally tried it and they didn’t disappoint Soooo good, tender, and seasoned just right! The fries werw regular, crinkle fries but they did season them as well. If we had eaten them in the moment, they would’ve been excellent as well. We will definitely be back for more.

Stopped by after a quick search of reviews for something close by while visiting. The reviews did not disappoint. The chicken was a flavor explosion in my mouth! The seasoned fries and Cole slaw were tasty as well. I know the next time I come to visit I’ll be stopping by for another round. I like keeping it local.

This place was recommended to me by another small business owner. The first time I tried it, I kept saying wow, OMG, this is amazing, woah, etc. The friend who joined me was going to let her colleagues know about it, since it is barely 10 minutes from the University Circle area. I went back again, to try the wrap. The same adjectives could have been used again. So amazing!
The portions are more than generous! The seasoned fries, the chicken, the sauces, the fresh lemonade; everything made from scratch! Knowing this is only 2 minutes off 77 I will be making a point to visit when I can. This business serves all the praise for the quality and quantity of food.

Stopped here for dinner and ate inside. The gentleman manning the cash register was super sweet and polite. Restaurant was very clean. And, of course, the chicken was fabulous. It was crisp but not dried out at all. I got the chicken and waffles which was delicious. Waffle ended up a little soft from the steam in the Styrofoam container, but the rosemary in it was amazing. Coleslaw portions are a bit on the small side.

The food is good overall. Most of the time, the chicken and fries are made fresh to order, which is a big plus. However, they charge extra for sauce—which seems unnecessary, especially since it’s just a simple mayonnaise mix. The guys who work there are friendly, but some of the ladies have an attitude, so the customer service could be better. Still, it’s one of the better fast-food options in the area.

If I could give the Crispy Chick 100 stars I would! I absolutely love coming here when I’m near! This was my first time trying and they did NOT disappoint! I’m working on my fourth or fifth time now and my food is always hot and very pleasantly seasoned! This is my favorite restaurant now! Try their signature sandwich, you won’t be disappointed
