I would say this is a gimmick-y place to go – but also decent for a large group and entertaining if you have never been. The atmosphere in here is very unique – you even cross over a bridge over a Koi pond when you go into the main restaurant.

Prepare yourself for a TON of food. You should NOT go hungry. The prices HAVE increased through the years, therefore it’s NOT cheap.

I would pass on the cocktails – they are pretty watered down and fancy, but expensive. Also – appetizers are decent, but you already receive SO MUCH FOOD with your meal – don’t overdo it…unless you MUST have that sushi!

The food again is prepared LIVE in front of you on an extremely HOT grill and the chefs are entertaining but decent enough to cook your steak how you like it. The wait staff is also pretty attentive and everytime we would finish the last drop of our soda, another one replaced it. So that was cool.

Definitely try if you like hibachi style food and entertainment – don’t be shy – nothing to embarrass you here. Enjoy the food – prepare to bring some home!

They nickel and dime you now. What used to include both soup and salad now forces you to choose one. Yum yum sauce used to be provided, but now they charge $1 for a tiny portion. Our chef spent most of the time talking in Spanish with guests at the other end of the table and barely interacted with the rest of us. The entertainment didn’t start until the very end, and even then it was underwhelming.
This was especially disappointing since it was a work lunch. We won’t be returning.

Great fried rice and hibachi style dishes. Their chicken fried rice was perfect. The portions were massive and we had plenty for dinner that night. The building is a little dirty and has some wear. Food was great though. We would definitely come back.

Food was very good and large portions.
There is an 18% service fee on the bill- assuming it’s the tip.

The Cook was horrible food not good. The service with him was fast and sloppy no tricks for the kids no kind of entertainment with the service that you usually get at a hibachi restaurant. Just miss handling the food, throwing it on the plate so sloppily no fun at all . The waitress was good but had to keep requesting food that was not on the plates or wasn’t cooked as part of the menu she went just back to the kitchen and picked it up the vegetarian dish that you pay $30. For is completely the same vegetables that you get with your entrée and then don’t even give you the extra vegetables They just give you the same vegetables that they give everybody else. Only thing that was good wasthe new mermaid Sushi roll thatwas great everything else was not what you’re paying for. My granddaughter couldn’t even chew a steak. It was like it was cooked so fast. We had to ask about rest of food the you ordered Didn’t get her white rice for her extra two shrimps are supposed to came with the food.not to mention A gratuity charge of an extra $30 when the service is garbage by the Cook.!! Let me put emphasis on the Cook was horrible. nevertheless again spent over 200$ for not to be able to enjoy it!!! just not worth the time for the price of food and drinks and horrible service we experienced !!!! should have took our chances and went to Benihana‘s like we said this is not it..I wouldn’t recommend This place to anyone, but This is my experience. They never have to worry about me visiting again. I wish I could’ve talked to someone in corporate about this, but I’m sure they have plenty of complaints so mine probably wouldn’t make a difference..

This was our 3rd time at House of Kobe and it was by far the best time. Our chef, Jason, was so entertaining and accommodating. The food was fantastic. Our server was a 8/10 only because they were busy. We had a great time and will definitely go back.

Unfortunately there are people who will take advantage of a beautiful food presentation and quality product. Our chef handled the one particular filthy miscreant with grace after she ate the whole plate of food and then complained about the grizzly meat- our chef then accidentally spilled my friends water glass into her plate water logging her whole dinner- I’m not even mad. Bravo good sir- you did your business proud. We still support you.

Quite literally the best chicken fried rice I’ve ever had. Shrimp fried rice was good but not close to the chicken. Philly roll was good (abnormally large). Shrimp tempura roll was good but very different than traditional. Gyoza was average to above average. Get the chicken fried rice.
