Green chili is flavorful but the rest is severely lacking. Rice is mushy and bland. Beans have no salt. Portions are quite small. Asked for more salsa but it never came. Waitress seems a bit slow in comprehension. Bathroom is atrocious. I picked this place because it had the best reviews for Mexican restaurants in Gallup. I would hate to see the others if this is the best!

What a gem! I was looking for a breakfast spot, and we stopped at a coffee house first. Afterwards we walked to this place, and we were so glad we did! Food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was super hometown feel with genuine friendliness. Small place with just a few tables, but pretty sure we were the only non locals there. Love finding and supporting small local businesses like this I ate the breakfast burrito, but without it in the tortilla to make it gluten free. So yum.

This hole in the wall, is an actual hole in the wall. Nice folks, good food. The place doesn’t look like much. Don’t expect quick service. They might be brewing more coffee so don’t be in a rush. Did I mention, nice folks and good food?

On my way to albuquerque this place was an excellent stop for an early breakfast burrito. The burrito was only 10-$11 and the lady working the front was extremely nice.

5 stars isn’t enough for this little piece of southwest heaven. We stopped here coming from the east coast traveling to the Grand Canyon and the experience was perfection. The food was hot and delicious, service was quick and exceptional. We ordered three breakfast burritos between the two of us and couldn’t even finish them all. We will be visiting Maria’s Restaurant every chance we get to come out west. 10/10 recommend and will go again.
