We had a great experience at Gulf 844 Prime. We arrived before the dinner rush with reservations for a party of four, and everything from start to finish was excellent.
The drinks alone are worth going for, so many well-crafted cocktails to choose from and all done really well. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling over the top, and the food was soooo good. My husband ordered the ribs and said they were the best he’s ever had, and my Chilean sea bass was fresh, perfectly prepared, and absolutely excellent.
We’ve dined here before and will definitely be back again. It may feel a little expensive for some, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality and overall experience.

We had dinner at 844 Gulf & Prime twice in the past 5 days. I would have been more but had some late golfing to do.
We had a table for 4 and Jamie was out server. She, along with Henry the Sommelier treated us incredibly well. Our meals were impeccable and the Chateauneuf du pape Henry selected for us paired very well with our meals. For dessert we had the cheesecake which is not to be missed! 100% going back. 100% recommend! Cheers!

Server Jimena was fantastic. Very attentive. The food was delicious too. Atmosphere really good too. It was a bit noisy due to other parties, but I reckon that’s not their doing. People was just loud that day I guess. It’s a very nice place . 100% recommend .

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party for our wedding here in December and this place exceeded our expectations! Everyone raved about the food and the staff went above & beyond. Shout out to Jamie W. for helping us coordinate everything!
We decided to go back for Valentine’s Day this year and loved it. The smoked old fashioned, espresso martini, oysters, octopus, wedge salad, Wagyu filet, seared tuna, & salted caramel gelato were all fantastic. We love sitting in the bar area here, it’s huge! Highly recommend going for dinner!! We will definitely be back.

We had Marko as our server who was knowledgeable about the menu/specials and attentive to our needs. We had a party of six and everything couldn’t have been better. The food was hot, good portions and delicious with nice presentations. The bartenders made very good cocktails with a wide variety of specialty drinks.. Food prices are in line with other finer dining on the island. We have dined here on several occasions and it has been very consistent with quality and portions. Arrive early to enjoy their great happy hour drinks and appetizers.

Update 1-22-26: Triple Tale was #1, Aged Ribeye Special #2, Dover Sole Table-side Special #3 and Veal Indorato #4 in our ranking but really they were all Excellent!!! Lychee Martini is excellent as is the Basque Style Cheesecake. Stellar service and atmosphere too! We highly recommend.
My new favorite place! Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Huge bar if you want to just hang out there and eat. Dessert Martinis, Baked Alaska, Bread is wonderful, Scallops Augratin delicious as well as the TripleTail. Pablo was a very attentive server and didn’t make us feel rushed.

The food was absolutely fantastic but I wouldn’t make a later reservation we went around 8 and we felt kind of rushed and like Pablo didn’t want us there.. other than that food and the rest of the staff was awesome

So as a resident of Marco Island took our out of town friends to 844 happy hour before dinner there, when we arrived there were 4 seats open at bar but not together. Asked the waitress if we could sit at one of the high tops(all but one were empty) waitress said sure no problem. Another waitress came by and said we needed to go ask the manager if it was ok. Wife went to ask him he said no, “ask people to move at the bar, that’s how you make friends” Very rude and a jerk so we left, fyi restaurant was 3/4 empty
So when it’s out of season and restaurant is empty we will go elsewhere where the manager is nice.

We had a great dining experience. Server was attentive, food was delicious and abundant portions. Only issue was the 3% service charge for using a credit card. Especially given the prices we paid for the meal. Left a bad taste at the end of the evening.

A small hidden gem in a small hidden island marco island
I had homes in marco island for over 40 years snd now I own a paradise retreat I marco . I had the pleasure to visit that restaurant for the fist time and I really was pleasantly surprised. The menu self illuminated and for me that was a pleaser as I did not have to use my reading glasses. The waiter was very nice and surpisingly offered us a 40 percent discount on any bottle of wine under 100 dollars .do ghsg was very nice. The appetizers the octopus and the shrimps were fabulous and very well presented . The main dish the grouper with the crab meat was exquisite and buttery in flavor and very tasty. The veal medallion were very well prepared. The dessert on the other hand was ok. But overall the meal was very tasty and I do recommend this place if you st ed going to spend some time in marco
