Our waitress Sarah was awesome! She never missed a beat with anything. I put a 3 star for the food due to when we first got our order it was cold and even though my husband and I let her know we would still eat the food she made sure and assisted on having our entire order remade! You have excellent customer service! It is very seldom that you find waitresses like you! Keep up the amazing work it will get you a long ways!

Came after church, but beat “the rush” waited 15mins for a table..no big deal. Seated at a dirty table, waitress came by 3x made eye contact but never even said hello. Came back w wet rag after we requested one. Gave her our order, got our drinks..then food, still never even said her name. We finished asked for a go box, she brought it back with our check resting inside it. Never came by and asked if we needed ANYTHING the entire time, a refill, knife..how was the food.. probably the worst service we have ever had at Sonny’s. We used to bring my mother-in-law to that location to eat, before she passed, because she loved it and the food.. it’s definitely NOT the same. Doubt we come back. Finally saw the waitress’ name, on the top of our check. I worked food service for years, maybe it’s time for a career change dear. Food was decent.

My dad and I came here to eat as part of our outing. We both got the 2 meat Pick of the Pit combo; my dad ordered his with the smoked wings & ribs with the BBQ beans and baked sweet potato for the sides and tea to drink, and I ordered mine with the smoked wings & sliced brisket with BBQ beans and coleslaw for my sides with lemonade to drink. The wings were crispy and flavorful and the brisket was tender and delicious; the meat was so good it didn’t even need sauce (now you know that’s good barbecue!!). The coleslaw and bread were good, and the BBQ beans were okay; they weren’t bad I just felt they were tastier after adding some of the barbecue sauces available on the table. My dad also enjoyed his food and loved the wings. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The only things I would say would be that I just think the meat could have been just a little bit warmer and that the host station could use more attention as it took a bit of time for someone to come to us so we could be seated. Also, the restrooms could be a bit cleaner. But other than that, everything was great! Nice family-oriented atmosphere, too.

Brisket was dry as cotton and tough as leather. The quality has really dropped. Half chicken had flavor only on skin. Looks like it could have been cooked a lil longer as well. Pulled pork was decent at best. Best part of the meal was the Texas toast. Golden and buttery. Cashier wasn’t too friendly either.

Was seated promptly. Server greeted and told us she’d be back to get our order in a moment. She returned 10 minutes later and said the same thing. After almost 1/2 hour she finally took our order only to tell us they were out of what we wanted. We left without dining so I can’t rate the food.

Drive thru was empty. I had placed an online order. I was told that I HAD to come inside to get my order since I placed it ahead of time via the app. Why couldn’t the staff just hand me the bag that was already prepared for me through the window that was 5 feet away from the walk in counter? I parked and got out and walked inside. It took almost 5 minutes for the to go girl to stop talking long enough to acknowledge me… while a waitress saw me waiting and STILL refused to even make eye contact with me.
I never received my coleslaw and the baby back ribs were dry… even smothered in their signature sweet BBQ…which is the best sauce I’ve ever had. It’s a shame that they can’t uphold the Sonny’s standards with customer service and decent meat. I drove 30 minutes away to eat at one of my favorite places… and I was so disappointed in the quality and service.

We frequently order from this restaurant and have always been satisfied until now. I placed an order through Uber Eats, and while the pickup and delivery went smoothly, we encountered several issues with the order itself.
We ordered four large pulled pork sandwiches: three with fries and one without. The combos are usually packed in black containers, but we received the sandwiches in a brown bag instead, indicating that the order was not packed correctly. We also received only one drink instead of the three we ordered. Additionally, the chicken Caesar salad we received had brown lettuce.
I called the restaurant to address these issues, but the person I spoke with claimed they couldn’t locate the order and suggested I file a complaint with Uber Eats. He acknowledged that if the order had been packed correctly and items were missing, they would still be at the restaurant. However, he did not offer any assistance or resolution, such as a credit or a gift card.
I am requesting a refund for the fries, drinks, and the salad, as the restaurant failed to address the issue adequately. It seems that there is a lack of concern for accuracy and customer satisfaction with delivery orders. I hope this issue will be resolved promptly, and I plan to escalate the matter if necessary.

This is the greatest place for bbq I know of! I had the brisket (my favorite),Mac and cheese, baked beans and of course the garlic bread. The food was hot, fast and yummy. Our server Amber was so nice and attentive to everything we needed. She kept our drinks full and made great suggestions on the menu. 10/10 for our server, the food

The food was good at this location. Tried a different location that offered cinnamon butter for the baked sweet potato. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. Chicken with green beans, sweet potato, cornbread muffin, with a little banna pudding, which was good as well. Hubby had his usual dishes, baby back ribs, baked beans, and French fries.
