Inventive modern interpretations of traditional Indian dishes in a stylish space with Hindu motifs.

We started with the Chicken Lollipop as an appetizer. At first glance it looked quite simple, but one bite completely changed our impression. The chicken was incredibly juicy, beautifully marinated with spices, and already delicious on its own without any extra seasoning. Paired with the dipping sauce, it brought out a totally different layer of flavor.
For the main dishes, we ordered the Shrimp Curry and Tandoori Lamb, and asked the kitchen to make them medium spicy (none of the dishes are spicy by default, but they kindly customize the spice level upon request). The shrimp were perfectly firm and springy, and the curry was rich, aromatic, and absolutely perfect with basmati rice. We also ordered garlic cheese naan — soft, fluffy, and incredibly satisfying, especially when dipped into the curry.
The tandoori lamb had a gentle kick of spice and was equally delicious.
If you’re feeling a little tired of Alsatian cuisine while traveling, this wonderful Indian restaurant is definitely worth trying. Highly recommended!
The chicken lollipops were good, but not what I had in mind — they were made with thighs and had bones, which isn’t my personal preference. The biryani was really delicious and definitely my favorite dish of the night. The butter chicken was good as well, but as someone who loves butter chicken, I felt it was missing a little something — maybe an extra layer of flavor to make it stand out more, also the naan can use some improvements.
The staff were okay, though they didn’t seem very cheerful. It might have just been an off day.
The food here was absolutely amazing. We ordered several dishes and loved every one of them. For our first course, we shared a platter that included chicken wings, easily some of the best we’ve ever had, along with flavorful samosas and tasty beef rolls.
For our main courses, we chose the butter chicken and paneer palak. Both dishes were excellent and full of rich flavor. We also ordered a garlic naan and a cheese naan, each fresh, warm, and perfect for dipping.
Overall, every item we tried was wonderful. Highly recommend!
If you’re in Strasbourg, do yourself a favor and eat here.
Paneer makhani and naan a l’ail is the best combination. Lassi was fantastic too. Overall I would come without hesitation 🙂
I then checked their website, saw availability after one hour, and made a reservation. When we returned, the same staff member again behaved poorly, saying there was no table and that we would need to wait 15–30 minutes, contradicting the online system.
Another person, who seemed to be the manager, came and said the app was not working and asked us to wait outside. While waiting, the second staff member returned and made uncomfortable comments implying that customers (specifically Indians) behave badly, without any greeting or respect. The tone was argumentative and unprofessional.
Hospitality is about respect and communication. Even if there are technical issues or delays, there is no justification for rude behavior or stereotyping customers. This experience was disappointing and made us feel unwelcome.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains staff on basic courtesy and respectful customer interaction
