It Was suggested to go here by a friend because I love Halloween and horror things. I didn’t expect the show but that was a cool addition to the experience. I had the Sweeney beef steak and it was great and the deets shrimp (which had cilantro on it not my favorite but I just picked it off) the presentation of the shrimp was super fun and they were huge. We don’t drink alcohol so we just had cranberry juice. My son and husband had the scissor hands burger and both enjoyed it. We had a brownie, tart, and pumpkin cheesecake for desert but could b-barely finish because it was too much food. We were sat right when our reservation started at 4:30, we got out of there right on time to make Halloween Horror nights at 7pm at Universal Studios. Expect to spend 2 hours dining here. There was a photographer that took our pic and framed several and I chose 4 for $25 a piece, totally worth it. I think the low reviews from other people are a bit harsh… just go in, try to have fun and KNOW you are going to pay LA prices for a prefix themed menu in Hollywood. I will say I have eaten at the Universal Horror Cafe (also $65 per person) and I preferred Beatle House to the food and experience at universal.

Truly spooky and beautiful vibe, we had a reservation that we were late too so we had to wait just a bit to get seated once we got there but we got the best table in the front to witness the performers! FYI leave super early to find parking! Overall the comedic magician was our favorite performer! So interactive with guests and a kind soul <3 truly made our experience so fun. A photographer came around and took several photos of us and we ended up purchasing one of them, they framed it and everything! The food was average but presentation was beautiful , I didn’t enjoy my mash potatoes from the miso salmon waaay too spicy (and trust I love spicy food) and not the good kind of spicy, it tasted almost chemical with how hot it burned on my tongue so not my favorite but everything else was good. I had the Bio-Exorcism which was a cool drink, overall you’re paying for the experience and the vibes ~

The atmosphere was perfect, but the overall experience fell short in several key areas.
1. Food Quality:
The steaks were excellent, and the shrimp cocktail was spot on. However, the rest of the appetizers were disappointing. The mac and cheese and fingerling potatoes arrived lukewarm, and the wings were underwhelming in both flavor and texture.
2. Dessert Selection:
Nearly all of the advertised desserts were unavailable. We were limited to just cookies with ice cream and cheesecake. For the price point, this felt like a major letdown — especially since dessert is often the finishing touch that ties the meal together.
3. Entertainment:
While the acts that performed were talented, there were only three performers total — one of whom repeated with a different song. I understand it may be off-season, but given how full the venue was, it would have been nice to see a more robust lineup.
4. Service Gaps:
After finishing our meal, we waited over 25 minutes without any staff checking in. Despite multiple attempts to flag someone down, we were ignored until the photographer happened to help us get the waiter’s attention. We finally received our desserts and an additional drink order, but just as we finished, the hostess came over to inform us we needed to leave due to exceeding the 90-minute table limit. This felt frustrating — had we not been ignored for such a long period, we would have been well within the time limit.
⸻
Final Thoughts:
It wasn’t a terrible night, and there were definitely highlights, but for a $500+ bill for a party of four, I expected a more polished and consistent experience. A few small adjustments could have made this evening feel far more worthwhile.

Such an amazing experience! The atmosphere is perfect for anyone that loves Halloween allll year round! The food was delicious and flavorful! The drinks were also balanced and delicious. If you’re a gin person , I definitely recommend the bio exorcism! Lastly, all the entertainment they had was amazing! I was able to experience some magic , juggling, comedy and singing by good ole uncle fester . I highly enjoyed my time here ! If you’re into the area come support them and enjoy yourself as much as I did 🙂

We had no clue what to expect, but we loved it. We had read some previous reviews about the food not being good. However, we completely disagree. The food was delicious. My husband and my favorite appetizer was the kebabs and we both loved our dinners. I ordered a chicken dish on a mushroom risotto and my husband had the burger. The kids had the chucky clucky chicken tenders with a side of mac n cheese and loved it. We all loved the kids Mac n cheese. They ran out of the filet mignon so we will be back to try that next time.
The staff from the moment you entered were nothing but fun, hospitable and helpful. The environment was out of this world. We brought my 7 year old and my 11 year old and they were in awe. Normally, places like this I even expect the bartender to be stingy on alcohol but she was anything but that. One drink did me in. On top of it the actors that played the Sanderson Sister were not only extremely animated and interactive/fun, but wholly crap could they sing. My kids fell asleep after dinner, but every time one of the witches came out to sing they woke right up.
Finally I accidentally left my phone at the restaurant. The staff found it and managed to call my husband right away. I had just figured it was gone since we were in Hollywood, but thanks to the staff they saved our vacation. My life is on that phone and they left me with a cute witchy photo .
I can’t thank them enough for the whole experience. My kids enjoyed it more than Universal and we will absolutely be back! A big thank you to Beetle House LA.

It’s definitely a tourist trap. I’m a CA native and we decided to come for a bday party after a friend had told me how nice it was when they visited last year. Unfortunately my experience was the complete opposite. The food was good and the staff was fine, the issue was the 45 minute wait even with a reservation. A server who appeared to be over worked and did not refill any of our drinks. We saw multiple people leaving their tables and going to the bar to get drinks faster. And of course the lack of entertainment. I was under the impression that the evening was hosted by a beetle juice character, this was not the case. We had a party of 7. Due to slow service we were at the location for nearly 4 hours. The other entertainers were good, not what I expected but I did enjoy them but they repeated their acts in the time we were there. The scenery was nice and the drinks/food were good. I just expected more for a 800 dollar bill. After seeing other peoples photos of their experience I just feel let down. Also , they were out of quite a few menu items. I emailed them informing them of my dissatisfaction after they sent me a link to review them, but I never heard back.

Exceptional. I expected it to be a little cheesy but aside from the magic show- not at all. The food was fantastic quality and value. Very well thought out 3 course menu with enough selections for variety but not an overwhelming amount of choice. The drinks were incredible. Truly wonderful (I had too many with zero regrets). The performers were truly talented and the costumes were amazing. I hoped this would be a fun experience and it turned out to be a highlight of my trip to LA.
Can’t give a rave enough review on this place! LOVE

Such an awesome experience!! We made reservations for 7:30pm and did the $65 3-course meal. The entertainment was funny and talented! Some great singers and performers. The food was okay. It was more about the experience so that’s not going to keep me from coming here again. Absolutely loved this place!

Overall a fun experience for the most part.
Food was subpar, cold, and under-seasoned. Website and pictures of the menu were deceiving. After attending and posting pictures, heard reviews from friends who have been here that they had a similar experience with the food.
Way overpriced for the quality. I would have rather spent that extra money tipping the waitress and performers.
Our server was wonderful and attentive with a positive attitude and witty/comedic responses.
The performers were great and entertaining.
Giving three stars for atmosphere and service. Definitely recommend eating else where before heading here.

We stopped by here just for drinks and didn’t have any expectations. Surprisingly they have performance. Which was great performance and we tipped them cause really entertained. Tonight’s performers were the Sanderson sisters and Jack & Sally. With a special appearance by Lock and Shock. Ambiance was great. Show was spectacular. Food was amazing. Price is a little high but you have to remember you are getting show as well .it was worth it and what an experience.
