This location is very often out of items. Very poor management.
The dining area is rarely clean. Every recent visit is worse than the last.

I usually come through the drive-thru in the morning between 7–8 a.m., and honestly this is the best shift to grab food at this location. The food is always fresh, and the customer service is consistently great. There’s a woman named Tina who works the pickup window, and she always takes a moment to check in on me, which really makes a difference. She’s been on that shift for a few weeks now because I never seen her there before, and her kindness feels genuine. There’s also another very kind woman who wears glasses who is just as welcoming. They truly make you feel good, and it’s clear they care about the customers. This morning crew has made my mornings better every time I come through.

That early morning drive-thru rhythm… fresh food, calm energy, and familiar faces hits different. Sometimes it’s not the coffee or the food, but it’s the human connection that sneaks in with it.

I’m really glad I have that little pocket of good energy in my routine.

Busy Saturday morning! Cars backed up in the drive thru, dining room full, I ordered through the mobile app and took off without checking my bag. My mistake, I got the wrong order. Called back up and spoke to who I’m assuming was the manager. Was more than understanding. Listened to me and asked how he was able to fix the situation. Went back up to the store and he was very attentive not only to me and other customers, but was still calm and polite to his associates. It was a black gentlemen, very clean and well spoken and offered concessions for the inconvenience. I swore off the food industry a while back but if I had to go back I’d want to work under this guy. Great attitude and temperament. I hope he is recognized for his posture and patience during such a hectic time in the morning. Thank you for all you do

Absolutely horrible!! We ordered food on our way home around 11pm. The line was long and as a customer service worker I understand it can be frustrating sometimes but when we came up to the drive thru speaker we were greeted with a simple what can I get for you, as we were ordering you could hear how annoyed the worker was, sighing loudly and even saying oh my goodness under his breath but we could clearly hear it over the speaker . They were changing our order on the screen, final price was 39 then changed to 42. We didn’t even get the right order at first! Wrong drinks and everything. They asked to see our receipt, took it and never gave it back, they checked our order and we still got the wrong drinks! We had to wait 15 minutes for the correct food and it wasn’t even that much. We ordered a double quarter pounder and got a regular one instead, we also got a happy meal and crispy strips then ordered 2 snack wraps one spicy and one not, both we got were spicy! It’s like they were trying not to listen to us on purpose?! The food was cold and one snack wrap wasn’t even wrapped properly, it looked like they just tossed it into the bag, it was outside the wrapper. I don’t leave reviews often or at all but this just pissed me off! Just terrible, even the lady at the third window couldn’t hide how annoyed she was, as if we were the ones making the mistake. Hope this location gets their act right and sorts their workers out. I’ve never been to a McDonald’s or fast food chain this bad, lazy, rude and incompetent sorry. I get it’s late but how hard is it to do your job that you get paid for decently, it’s called customer service for a reason.

Yall need to get yall drink machine together or clean it or something. There has been multiple times I’ve ordered a sprite and when yall hand it to me its pink last time I checked sprite is clear. I dont feel safe to drink it. And any time I order orange juice it literally tastes just like water. I try to give yall grace because yall be busy. But thats just down right disgusting and lazy of you all to not try and fix it and got the nerve to still be handling peoples drinks

UPDATE:
Was at McDonald’s yesterday in a pick up spot after placing an online order. Sat in the pick up spot for over 20 minutes while cars were consistently going through the drive-through without delay. Sent my husband inside to the front counter where he stood for 10 more minutes, because employees were not getting service at the front. My husband witnessed two customers come in stand and wait and when they weren’t acknowledged, they left. So with my husband standing inside, I called the manager, which I could see through the drive-through window pick up the phone. I told him the situation that I was sitting outside for an outrageous amount of time and that my husband at this point had been in the lobby for 15 minutes and no one had come to the front to acknowledge anyone. Was a young black guy and I didn’t get his name, but he said to me that they were understaffed and he would get to my order when he got to it. Less than three minutes later, my husband had our order in his hand. so needless to say, they overlooked the pick up spot order probably unintentionally, and instead of admitting his faults, he just wanted to be a jerk to me. I come there often as you can see from the photos that I post so I am more than aware that they have plenty of staff and on this particular night as I was sitting in the pick up spot, I witnessed six different employees walking past the drive-through window. McDonald’s is going to get shut down there’s no way it can possibly keep on especially letting homeless people sleep in the side parking lot but, that’s another topic for another day.

This McDonald’s is sadly declining. Several months ago the customer service was a horrendous, I will say in the past two months I’ve noticed that the staff have become a lot more diverse and friendly. The pictures I have below are of three different experiences, and each one depict the quality of service that you do receive. These are just for my last three visits. But I’ve been dealing with this for over two years. Every sandwich I get whether it’s a McChicken, a big Mac, or a double cheeseburger is always such a mess and you need a stack of napkins to get through it. I always add mayonnaise to my sandwiches and I guess they think it’s funny to make it a big pile of slop. I have no other option but to go to this McDonald’s because it’s really really close to my house and I don’t see the sense in driving to McDonald’s and getting mediocre service there as well. I highly suggest not doing pull up service if you order through the app because 90% of the time it’s children and they love to play around so they don’t bring the order out promptly. I sat one time for 45 minutes and I had to call the store to get them to walk the 10 feet out to my car and hand me freezing cold food. The franchisee has given up as he’s allowing people to live on the property. And not maintaining the outside of the store. it’s really sad because I grew up here and McDonald’s was such a treat when I was a kid going to the play place and enjoying a meal with my family now as an adult I don’t get to share that same tradition.

This McDonalds on Western Branch is the absolute worst, please do not waste your time. The workers are rude, service is extremelyyyy slow & they will have you wait on food just to tell you they are out. I have given them so many chances & every time I am more disappointed then the last. I complained to one of the managers recently & he told me he knows this McDonalds is terrible. The owners of this McDonalds clearly do not care & it shows. Throw the whole McDonalds away! I finally have stopped going & started going to the McDonalds in Suffolk off of College Drive and they have way better service.

If I could give this McDonald’s ZERO stars, I would.
Every time I come here, the “system is down.” No orders, no help, no accountability just excuses. Even if you order through the app, they still can’t give you your food, and the app literally says to resolve issues with the location. So what’s the point?
It’s always the same rude service too. You say “thank you,” and they just stare at you. The young lady at the window never says a single word. No “hi,” no “you’re welcome,” nothing. Just silence and attitude.
This location is the definition of inconvenient, unprofessional, and unbothered. Do better, McDonald’s.

There is a nice play place for younger children, but that’s the only nice part of this McDonalds. Service was incredibly slow and only a portion of the order was delivered to the counter. The lines of people waiting were long and getting the attention of a worker was difficult. The workers were rude and the food was cold. The play place is night but the service and food was awful.
