The service was horrible, we had to approach the waiter to take our order after staring at him for over 20 minutes to grab his attention. Non apologetic, just straight to: what’s your order? Placed order and no joke nearly 1 hour before we got the order, plenty of time to provide utensil and never did. Had to ask for utensil after 10 minutes of waiting with our plates served. Food got cold, we ordered egg benedic with hasbrown casserole and it was disgusting but had decent presentation.. Asked for the check and had to wait another 20 minutes for it. The place has a lot of potential, needs cleaning and sanitary procedures. I would not go back!

I’ve read several negative reviews of this restaurant that did not reflect my many positive experiences eating there.
Nestled right on the edge of Reedy Falls Park, this two-story brick cottage with double fireplace (downstairs) exudes charm. Indoor dining leads you to the second floor up some rustic wooden stairs, while a covered veranda for outside dining is also available. Outdoor dining is the better option with plenty of heavy iron tables and chairs or wooden benches shaded by green fabric umbrellas in the middle of an immaculate and picturesque flower garden (see photo). Eating here on a warm, sunny Spring day is perfect.
Their weekend Brunch menu is my favorite. The maple pumpkin walnut French toast is my go to, with the sweet potato pancakes a close second. I’m not a fan of eggs benedict, but my wife says they’re worth ordering.
The fried green tomatoes are also a flavorful appetizer.

This place was lovely! The food was very good, I had the low country benedict which was delicious. The service was rather slow but we were in no rush, enjoying the beautiful view and scenery this place offers.

Go for the fantastic view and the incredible grits. Don’t expect too much from other brunch offerings. Meal pace is relaxed (read slower service). At least the staff was friendly when we had to request they take an omelet back for being undercooked. They aim to please. Sit outside if you go, indoors feels a bit cramped. The history and location of this restaurant is why people go. Fills up fast during peak times.

A+++ FOOD was first class! Service was above board. Cost is unexpectedly average. What a beautiful place with a spectacular view of the park, which it over looks. You can park on the street or in the lot next to it and walk right in the park.

Had a nice lunch while in town visiting. Nice club sandwich. I had the orzo salad which I normally love but I would probably try something different next time. Cute little restaurant. Beautiful area. Friendly service.

Amazing location! Right on Fall’s Park. You can even hear the waterfalls. Not the best bennys I’ve had, but all else was superb!

My daughter was supposed to get married at Mary’s Falls Cottage overlooking the park in 1 week. Having some last minute questions, we reached out to the new owner who took over in 2019. He didn’t respond so we went there, and this note is on the door. He will not answer his phone or return text messages.

We had breakfast here this morning. They open at 10 and it’s first come first serve so arrive a few minutes early. We got a table on the patio overlooking the river and the park. All of the flowers are in bloom so it was as beautiful a spot as you could ask for. Service was fine but don’t go if you are in a hurry and then complain about it. Wife had chicken waffles which were great and I had a very nice omelet. You choose four of a very interesting selection of items to go in it. I chose goat cheese, ham, bacon and mushrooms. It was great. Prices are reasonable for the setting. They do not serve bloody Mary’s or mimosas. Great place to go for a relaxed un rushed outdoor breakfast.
