This place doesn’t even deserve one star. I came with my family which included 2 toddlers. I asked for a booth and the hostess tried to sit us in the back at high tops! I told her we won’t be able to sit here because the kids will literally fall over the chairs and she got an attitude and sat us at a booth and stormed off. Then she started yelling across to the front area about what happened as if she didn’t think I would understand her.
We ordered our food and my husband ordered a steak burrito. They gave him a chicken burrito. We waited for our server and she never came back after almost 10 mins. We told her and she just said “sorry” and walked off. My husband went to the bathroom and she came to the table and took his plate without asking. I was distracted feeding my child til I realized his plate was gone. I asked her where his food went and she said she took it. She was like oh well sorry.
My food was burnt and disgusting. I will not be back. Horrible service and food.
Another turn off is the menu said only one basket of chips per table! Crazy especially since we ordered cheese dip.

So we really liked that they have a salsa bar, that bean dip is served with the chips. The server was great, portions big. Carnitas good. However, never seen a chimichanga with no sauce or cheese. Cheese comes on the side, but it gets cold too fast and doesn’t give much flavor to all that tortilla. Anyhow, overall leaving this neutral until we go again. Food good, would have loved more flavors. Also, place needs some repairs.

Everything was great! We went early and there were only a couple of tables occupied so we were seated right away. Service was good and fast. Our waitress was very nice and took the time to answer our questions about some of the menu items. The food was delicious! I recommend the molcajete,a bit pricey but so worth it!

We had a fantastic experience at Guacamole Mexican Grill in Greer. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. We particularly enjoyed the self serve salsa bar that housed several excellent salsa options. The chips and bean dip served was also a nice change from other restaurants. The dip was really good! The menu is huge with many choices for our plant-based diet. We made a special request and the kitchen staff came out to ask directly so they could make it right. Amazing! We will most certainly be back on our travels through Greer, SC.

Had family come to town so took them to Guacamole Mexican Grill. Food and service was very good. Our server was very attentive and friendly and made sure to check on us often. No one had a bad meal and the Fajitas Enchiladas were delicious. Pretty busy on a Saturday night so was a bit noisy. All things considered, it was a very good night and will definitely be back.

An exquisite restaurant with a family atmosphere. We had to book a table in advance probably because it was a New Year’s Eve. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional.

Our server Danna was so rude and unprofessional. Not once was she welcoming. Ordered Four Flautas combination and she rang in the crispy flautitas appetizers instead. When the food hit she confirmed it was the combination and that it didnt come with rice and beans. Had to flag her down anytime we needed something. Also my partner had ordered fajitas and instead of sour cream and guacamole that comes with the side salad, he wanted dressing and she rang that up for 1.50. Just truly not a good experience this go around .

Very good! I loved the table side guacamole. It was so fresh and delicious. The salsas, bean dip and cheese dip were all amazing as well. We decided to get different dishes than we would normally get so I got the mole enchiladas and my boyfriend got the flautas and both dishes were outstanding. The only downside is that they did not have black beans just pinto beans which I am not a fan of but not a deal breaker. All the drinks we tried were amazing as well. I had the strawberry margarita and my boyfriend tried the lava flow and coronarita. Yum!! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for the awesome food and service.

Well, butter my biscuits and call me a road-tripper! Alright folks, gather ’round, your old man’s got a tale to tell, a real culinary quest, if you will! The family truckster, and my stomach, were both running on fumes the other day, so we decided to make a pit stop at this much-talked-about place called Guacamole Mexican Restaurant right here in good ol’ Greer, SC. And let me tell you, it wasn’t just a pit stop; it was more like winning the Indy 500 of fantastic flavor! Holy guacamole, indeed, this place is the real deal!
From the moment we parked the dad-mobile and walked in, I had a good filling. The place was brighter than my future son-in-law’s prospects (just kidding, son, mostly!), and the aroma? Oh boy, it was enough to make a grown dad weep tears of pure, unadulterated taco joy. It seriously smelled like victory, with a delightful hint of fresh cilantro. It was absolutely scentsational!
Now, let’s taco ’bout the main event: the glorious food! We, of course, had to start with their namesake – the guacamole. And folks, it was absolutely guac-tastic! Smooth, zesty, with just the right friendly kick. It wasn’t just good; it was avo-control good! My daughter tried to hog it all, but I wisely told her, “Sharing is caring, especially when it’s this dip-licious!” For the main course, I dove headfirst into some sizzling fajitas. They arrived hotter than a jalapeño’s temper on a scorching summer afternoon, and the sizzle was pure music to my ears – a real wrapsody in beef! Every single bite was a fiesta in my mouth. This wasn’t just food; this was premium, high-octane dad fuel, the kind that keeps the jokes flowing! It had bean a long time since I’ve had Mexican food that was this satisfying. It was nacho average meal, I tell ya! It really meats all expectations.
The service? Faster than my hairline receding (and a whole lot more pleasant, you betcha!). Our server was on the ball, really salsa-d their way into our good graces with charm. They made sure our chip basket, much like my bottomless repertoire of dad jokes, was never empty. They were truly grate!
And because I know you’re all wondering about the critically important stuff, as a true convenience store connoisseur would, I meticulously checked out the restrooms. Let me just say, they were cleaner than my car after a surprise visit from the grand-kids (which, believe me, is saying something significant!). No señor smudges to be found anywhere! They were immacu-loco!
So, if you’re ever in Greer and looking for a place that will fill your tank and genuinely tickle your tastebuds, Guacamole Mexican Restaurant is the absolute chip-shot! Don’t just taco my word for it, go guac and roll on over there. You absolutely won’t be disappointed. It’s a spec-taco-lar choice, guaranteed! This place truly siestas the day, folks! You can bank on that!
