We tried their guava cheesecake and it was absolutely spot on! The sweetness was subtle and beautifully balanced (might be a bit too mild for those with a major sweet tooth) letting the guava flavor really stand out. One of the best cheesecakes we’ve had. Definitely recommending this one!

A little on the expensive side it was almost $50 however I enjoyed 3/4 desserts brought home. The Dominican cake slice was dry and I did not like the taste. Did not taste like Dominican cake to me. The Coconut Rum Tres Leches Cake was very good and can actually taste rum flavor. It was also very moist. Both the Passion fruit cheesecake and tart were good. Love Chinola and reminds me of back home. Would definitely return just for tres leches Rum Cake! I was so anxious to taste these pics were taken after trying!!

An amazing bakery hidden in Fairfax! They have lots of sweet options and their coffee is also super delicious. The staff is also very sweet and very good about explaining flavors. I had their Cafe Con Leche iced latte (sooo good and decadent) and I’m a huge fan of their cupcakes (specifically the dulce de leche and hazelnut flavors). They use a very light/fluffy frosting (might be meringue?) and the inside fillings are sooo addicting. I have bought these for family and they are obsessed as well. I want to come back and try their cakes – they look sooo delicious!

Total – even though the prices may be a little higher than other cafes, the unique flavors and variety available make it worth it!

This bakery is so delectable that I went back the next day after my first visit. I had the guava cheesecake and it was lovely and light. The brownie is everything a brownie should be, and the ginger cookies were perfect. We also ordered the lime square which was light and perfect.

This is a very high quality bakery with balanced flavors and sweetness. I can’t give a high enough review. The cappuccino and espresso drinks are also perfect.

This charming bakery in Stryker Square offers a delightful array of small tarts, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and popsicles, all infused with flavors inspired by Latin recipes. In addition to these delectable treats, they also serve gourmet coffee beverages. The Cafe Con Leche Cheesecake boasts a rich, milk coffee-infused flavor that pairs wonderfully with the cafe latte, exhibiting a satisfying acidity level. As for the Pistachio Tiramisu is a delightful blend of creaminess, richness, and a harmonious balance of textures and sweetness. While the bakery’s seating area is limited, chairs and tables are available in the alley for patrons who wish to linger and savor their desserts in a pleasant outdoor setting.

Ordered a Father’s Day cheesecake online and was easy to pick up. The mini cheesecakes were also a great sampler of flavors.
Really enjoyed the coffee flavored one. Just make sure the cheesecakes are in the freezer then defrosted before eating.

Truly artisinal! It’s been a long time since I’ve been awed by a dessert shop. Their tres leche is sooo good, and not overwhelmingly sweet. Just the right combination of milk(S) and sweetened condensed milk.

Service was very personal too. I think I was greeted by the owner, who answered all my questions and offered recommendations. Ended up getting the guava cheesecake, passion fruit cheese cake, and the coconut rum très leche. Why not. Who could resist?!?

Incredible experience! This Dominican artisan bakery is a true gem. The products are fresh, of excellent quality, and have that authentic homemade taste that is simply delightful. From the coffee to the desserts, everything is made with great care and love. Me trae dulces recuerdos de mi amada isla.

The service is exceptional, and I especially want to highlight Iván and Sebastián, who always serve with a smile and make every visit even more special. Every chance I get, I come back without hesitation. In fact, I travel from Maryland to Virginia just to enjoy one of their exquisite tres leches. Highly recommended!

Everything was tasty! From pastries to savory empanadas. The coffee was freshly crafted to accompany the sweet pastries. You can find the bakery at the corner of the shopping center, entering the hallway. Hoping they will gain more exposure and open a larger sit-down location. 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing cafe with superb service (every person there was incredibly friendly and seemed truly passionate about their job). I went on a Saturday around 12:30pm and ordered their iced cafe bombón, spinach & ricotta pastelitos, and chocolate alfajores. Their cafe bombón was phenomenal (my fiancé who typically just drinks black coffee really liked it too); the perfect blend of flavor with just the right amount of sweet. They were sold out of their uber-popular guava & cream croissant (you must get there early OR you can order a few days ahead), but the spinach & ricotta was a flakey and delicious alternative. I bought 2 more chocolate alfajores after I finished the first; that’s how much I liked it. Will 100% be back!

There is no seating inside (besides 2 chairs probably intended for waiting), but there are 3 fully-covered tables right outside the cafe that were perfect for enjoying our coffees & pastries.
