We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Munich and were very satisfied. As a Turkish person, the flavors felt familiar to our cuisine; when it comes to seafood, Greek restaurants often come to mind; this place truly delivers that Mediterranean taste. I can honestly say it was the best salmon I have ever eaten. The service and staff were friendly and welcoming; the atmosphere was pleasant; and the food was excellent. To top it off, the assorted desserts we ordered were very fresh and delicious. It’s a great local spot away from the tourist crowds; highly recommended.

This is a very lovely Greek Taverna with delicious food.
The restaurant has both inside and outside seating. Outside, a good portion of the seats has protection against too much sun and potentially against light rain. The chairs are wood and from what we’ve seen, don’t have seating cushions, so they are not the most comfortable for seating long. It wasn’t a problem for the 60-90 minutes we’ve spent there to have dinner.
The staff was friendly and well spirited. Our ordered food and drinks arrived quickly and were at the right temperatures.
The drinks we’ve ordered were mixed well. The starters (fried hot green peppers, grilled octopus) were excellent. So were the main courses (stuffed calamari, lamb skewers with rosemary potatoes and tzatziki). The fries were good as well. The extra request to replace the rice with fries was granted without any complaints.
The location is in the middle of a residential area, so there’s no considerable car traffic or noise in the area, which makes this a really nice and relaxed place. The food here is the highlight, so I think we’ll be back. Price/value was really fair, as portion sizes were generous, as you can see in the pictures. We’ll be back again in the future, I predict.

So far my favorite Greek restaurant in Munich. The staff here are incredibly friendly. They made us feel extremely welcomed and provided excellent service
The food here is incredible as well. Everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Wow… the Tzatziki and Hummus were great, they have a very nice Saganaki and Moussaka. You truly can’t go wrong with anything your order.
The atmosphere is of this restaurant is great. It’s tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s a wonderful place to come for any occasion.

Excellent, best Greek food in Munich. Everything from the lamb chops to the tsatziki, to the gyro meat were delicious, fresh, and flavorful. Highly recommend giving Taverna Limani a try if you’re in the area. Get the mixed hot and cold appetizers if you want a great variety of authentic Greek cuisine.

WOW, hide this from tourists (even though we are one). Hidden in a gem of a neighborhood and off the beaten path, this is what Michelin folks should be looking for! The quaint atmosphere, the service, the food, the wine! All experiencing bursting with so much joy (taste, sound, smell). This by far was our favorite restaurant in all our European travels on our 2-week trip.

The food is very good, we ordered bread with garlic and Zaziki, chicken and salmon for starters and for dessert, an Orange – Portokalopita cake was very delicious . in total 65 euros is not cheap but everything was very tasty. it’s worth going here.

I tried the Taverna Limani with some friends for dinner on a Friday. It is probably one of the best Greek restaurants in Munich. The restaurant is located in an area that is not exactly central but definitely quiet and safe. Plenty of choice on the menu for both meat and fish, nice atmosphere and very kind service. Very good fish dishes also very nicely presented. The wine was also good and not too expensive. Eating only fish, we spent around 50 euros each eating entries, main course, dessert and wine; therefore a fair bill for Munich. I will definitely be back in order to try the meat dishes. 100 % recommended

This has to be the best Greek restaurant outside of Greece! The service was absolutely incredible, and all the waitresses and waiters were so friendly and warm. We liked the restaurant so much that we went there for dinner for 2 nights straight, even though we only had 4 days in Munich. It was so worth it and I wish I could eat there everyday! My husband and I shared the grilled seafood platter on both nights because it is THAT good, and both times they were consistently PERFECT! We went on a Friday and Saturday, both times after 9pm so were able to get a spot easily, but otherwise I would recommend a reservation so you don’t miss out on the delicious foods!!
