We ordered a party package and pick up on Oct 4, 2025, but somehow the restaurant didn’t give up a salad tray, even no one from the restaurant called us to mention it. We were so busy on Saturday and didn’t realize that we missed the salad tray.
We called in on Sunday, but they made really difficult to get that salad that they forgot in our party package. We have been hold on the phone for a long minute, and talked to different people and no answer. I hang up the phone because already 15minute to wait to get an answer.
What the worst experience we ever had for this restaurant, especially this is the first time we ordered from them. We never ever have a problem before with another restaurant. I hope their management do better in preparing the package for the party. When we see the picture yesterday and realized no salad on my table

I had a really disappointing experience at this pizza place. I had to wait way longer than expected for my order, after the app said it was ready. I went up and asked about it. It felt like my order had been completely forgotten until I said something two separate times.
When I finally got my food, it was the wrong pizza. By that point I was already frustrated from waiting so long, and getting the wrong order just made it worse. To top it off, the breadsticks I ordered didn’t even come with any sauce, which is kind of the whole point of getting them.
Overall the service felt disorganized and careless. Waiting a long time is one thing, but getting the order wrong and missing items makes it hard to want to come back. Hopefully they can improve their order management and pay closer attention to what customers actually ordered.

The food was good, as always. My only complaint is the lack of coupons or deals for repeat customers. I tried using one coupon that had no expiration date printed on it, but the guy said it was expired. When I looked at the new coupons stapled onto the pizza box, they had already expired on 12/31/25. I like supporting local businesses, but a little recognition for being a loyal customer would be appreciated.

I ordered the 12 inch works pizza, a 10 inch pepperoni.pizza, and cheesey bread with two sauces. My ordered said it was ready while I was about 5 mins away. We get to pick up the order and my husband told the girl at the front when we got there. The girl then started to do other stuff, my husband waited about 10 mins and people coming and going with pizza. I rechecked the order online and it said the pizza was picked up. My husband asked again about the order after 15 mins of him waiting they brought it to him. We got home with cold pizzas, and to top it off incorrect order. The pizza that was supposed to be 10inch pepperoni, had mushroom, onion and green peppers. The cheesy bread had no sauce. This was the first experience and most likely the last at this place.

We have been in Maciano’s many times. Love the atmosphere there! The food and service are absolutely great. This time, we ordered, to be delivered, as we do from time to time. The order is consistently correct, hot, and our recent order came the fastest ever. The people who deliver the food are always so nice. We love Maciano’s!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is welcoming and quaint. The food is always good. It’s one of the few places that everyone in my family agrees to go to without hesitation. We’ve catered from Maciano’s several times and is fantastic! Always lots of compliments and reasonably priced.

Even with the busy Superbowl Sunday, our order was ready on time and our guests all complimented how much they enjoyed the 3 pizzas and most noted how much they enjoyed the crust. We had an issue months back with a pre-order over the phone for the next day getting lost and they were quick to get the pizzas made and delivered.

I ordered a 16” sausage pizza, extra thin and well-done. The crust came out perfectly thin and crunchy—just the way I like it. The sauce is pretty solid too.
I’m a bit picky about pizza since my family is originally from Sicily and was deep in the food business. My nonno was a baker, and my dad and uncles all learned from him, so I grew up with the traditional way of making sauce. Good tasting mozzarella.
Overall, this is a really good pizza and easily one of the better ones in the Elgin/South Elgin area. Definitely worth trying!

Recently moved here after living in Chicago my whole life and have been desperately seeking good pizza. This place hit the target! Pizza was fantastic. We got thin crust and it was nice and crispy on the edges but not burned. I did pick up, the food was piping hot and the staff were well organized and polite. Can’t wait to try dine in next time!
