Regulars excitingly line up for cheesesteaks, Cuban sandwiches, birria tacos or whatever else Alejandro has thought up to serve that week. And they keep coming back the following week for what’s next and it never disappoints!
He always has the burger outside of the specials and it’s easily the best burger in Asheville, Hendersonville and WNC region. And sometimes he does variations to his burger or different patty melts that are unmatched delicious!
Alejandro cooks it right in front of you, and he does an amazing job. Beyond just being a great cook, he’s an awesome guy and you can tell God has truly blessed him. Seriously, this isn’t just the best burger in town — it’s the best burger you’ll ever have!
I wrote my first review after randomly stumbling across this place, and in the past 1.5 years I have come back on average once per week. The best way I can think of to describe the style of food is it is what I would expect to find at a sports stadium in the upscale box or club seat areas. Think normal stadium fare (burgers, hotdogs, brats, and other grilled sandwiches), but with a subtle twist that somehow makes it the most delicious thing ever.
Alejandro makes 2 new specials every week (with the rare repeat), and there’s nothing he makes that I don’t love. He has even made dishes that I traditionally don’t like, but since he’s making it I give it a try, and even those dishes I have loved. If I don’t feel like trying that week’s specials (or I’ve gone more than once that week) there’s a double cheeseburger that is always available. I can confidently say it is one of the best (and probably the best) burger I’ve ever eaten (and eaten and eaten and eaten). It isn’t anything fancy, but the special sauce should probably be labeled as an addictive substance.
Oh, and about those cheesesteaks, he did not disappoint. But he only does it 1-2 times per year, and has a limited supply (and I do feel a little guilty about putting a significant dent in that supply).

Stopped at the Village Food Truck Park in Fletcher where Iron Sharpens Iron is a mainstay. I had a mouth-watering grilled sausage sandwich and my vegetarian wife had the chicken caprese sandwich with the chicken on the side (for me of course, and I couldn’t get enough of it). Chatted a bit with the proprietor, Alejandro, and he talked about some upcoming items that I can’t wait to try out (he’s from Philly and sounds like he knows his cheesesteak game, but that wasn’t on this week’s menu). I will definitely be going back.
Also if you ever are here when they have the cheesesteaks get it. Insanely good.
Great service, great atmosphere, come here.
