Don Taquilla Restaurants consistently outperforms their competition. Although there are better non-chain Mexican Restaurants in the world, among the chains, they are the best in terms of quality, unique offerings, and variety. The staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

It’s a little pricey, but once you taste it, you’ll understand why. Wow! I tried the Loco Taco and it’s the best Mexican dish I’ve ever had (and I’m a bit of an addict). Shrimp, steak, chicken, grilled veggies including mushrooms and zucchini, topped with cheese dip inside a giant homemade taco shell… YUM

DT’s quality and service exceeds the traditional Mexican chain restaurant in Columbus! You can taste the difference in their warm chips, house made salsa that is full of flavor, and their guacamole.. I could eat that as meal!
They have a large menu that is easy to navigate and has something for each person. They are known for their Taco Reyes, which are Double Decker tacos filled with your choice of protein, lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream. The house made enchiladas sauce reminds of a red mole and has a nice smokey flavor, but not spicy. I highly recommend the fajitas, they have a wonderful seasoning and are grilled to perfection.

Stopped here after all afternoon at the zoo. In the mood for a margarita and their jumbo margarita did not disappoint!
We ordered the chorizo cheese appetizer and the trio (three seafoods, sorry can’t remember the exact name) and everything was delicious and the service was excellent.
My only “complaint” was I ordered a Mich ultra draft for hubby and instead got what we believe was a regular Michelob. We know this because he then ordered a short Mich Ultra and it was correct.
But overall there break was wonderful, delicious and service was quick and friendly.
Parking is ample and the prices are average.
Stop in for a delicious Mexican meal.

I went here for an anniversary dinner and was a little overwhelmed by how big the menu was, but the meal was extremely delicious! The salsa had a nice kick to it and was absolutely amazing! They have a nice variety of tequila to choose from and the service was good! I would love to go back again!

Staff was great. Food was absolutely delicious. The salsa was amazing and chips were fresh and warm. Our party ordered chicken fajitas, beef nachos, fajitas Texanas and kid’s corn dog. Everyone was happy with their food! (That rarely happens. LOL)
