Wow! This food was AMAZING!!! Hands down, the best food I have ever eaten.
From the moment we sat down, the service was outstanding, attentive, warm, and perfectly timed. Even the iced tea deserves a mention: refreshing, balanced, and genuinely flavorful (not an afterthought).
We started with the artichoke dish Hot House Nuggets, an exceptional appetizer that set the bar high right out of the gate.
I ordered the Spaetzle und Bierkäse with smoked pub cheese, and wow. Rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying, an absolute yes, and then a double yes .
My friend had the Bivouac, which was equally superb, beautifully prepared and full of flavor.

5 stars is not enough to rate this place. Best bar I’ve been to in the area between Moscow and Pullman. The food is FANTASTIC and every dish I have tried has not disappointed me. The staff are all so kind and friendly. Such sweet people and know their stuff! You are well taken care of here and they put their customers first. Their drinks are equally amazing as the bartenders are very knowledgeable and are spot on with their drinks. The owner is wonderful, such a great man that has built a great business between the bar and the axe throwing upstairs.
Please do not skip out on this hidden gem, it is a must try if you are visiting or are a local.

Really yummy food! The boars in a blanket and the spaetzle were amazing! Every single staff person we interacted with killed it. The bartender was personable and attentive.
The attendant in the axe throwing section was so fun and kind. We really liked her. The owner even took his time to help my mom develop her throwing skills, making it a way more fun experience for her than it would have been without his help!
10/10 recommend this place for really tasty Bavarian eats, and an afternoon of throwing pokey things at a wall!

We came to listen to our friend sing and had never been here before. The food and drinks were on point and the staff were friendly, kind and super helpful! Love all the board/card games too! We will be returning for sure!

Excellent food! Fun creative menu! Service was excellent too! My friends and I did not throw any axes, but we really enjoyed our food! In fact, I had to take my side/fritters home because I was so full. However, I have to give four stars because when I ate my fritters at home, one of them had a hair that was cooked into it. They have a place for open mic or karaoke, I really like when there’s a stage present in an establishment.! Corn ribs are phenomenal! I wanted to order all the appetizers at once!!

Absolutely incredible! Highly recommended. Best German-American food in town. Great selection of drinks. Very reasonable prices and a substantial amount of food. I would rank it above Tapped, Ale House, and other similar places. Definitely a must visit when in Moscow.

What a great place to eat. We stop to have lunch and boy it was delicious. The prices are really good. The beer is good, honestly what a nice surprise this place is. Highly recommended if you want to have some German style food or similar in kind. The desert was also great. I think I gain a couple of pounds here

This is my second visit in a months time, I have been completely blown away at every aspect of this eatery/bar/ tons of microbrews on tap/ live entertainment/ axe throwing and whatever else you can stick in a target. Me being a Chef will tell you this is the best food, absolutely phenomenal service and atmosphere I have encountered in a very long time!!! This place is a gem and the owners and management take so much pride in what they are doing! worth a 4 1/2 hour drive just for the food. If you are visiting Pullman, University of Idaho, or you are a local this US a must stop! Thank you to the owners for what you have created here!! And thank you for the tour!

Not your typical bar food. Friendly atmosphere. Left to right we had tri-tip sliders w/side of potato hash patties, pleasant surprise.
Salad was pear, apple , raspberry with huge blackberries and almonds served with great tasting balsamic.
Appetizer was Brussel sprout done perfectly served with 2 great sauces. Would recommend and return when back in the area.
