This place is great, a real blast from the past. Food made to order in a classic lunch-counter type setting. I got a reuben, bag of chips, and a can of pop for $10. It’s definitely a throwback to earlier times. I would mostly recommend it as a good place to get a quick unfussy bite to eat. There are restrooms available at the back and they were clean. Note: the payphone outside, while cool, is disconnected.

10/10. I’ve never had a Reuben with such perfectly toasted rye, the fries were perfect, the cheesesteak was just the right balance between dry and soggy, and the prices are very reasonable. Nothing bad to say about the place at all—I actually like the cozy seating and 90s menu board. Definitely coming back next time I’m around.

I will never return here again!!! I have been coming here for years and have always loved the breakfast specifically the home fries and the scrapple egg and cheese sandwiches this morning. I arrived at 6:25 and decided to wait outside because the door and online list that they open at 6:30 AM. 630 Cam and went and nobody arrived. I tried calling no answer 7 o’clock still nobody because I love this restaurant so much. I decided to wait because I figured maybe something happened and they were running behind. It happens right well they did not arrive until 745 at which point I decided to leave and I would come back later on that way they could have time to open, etc. well I called at 11:03 and asked for a Scrabble egg and cheese and home fries before I could even finish my statement the man rudely cut me off and said NO breakfast and I said, sir I was there at 6:30 this morning trying to get breakfast and you were not there and he puts his wife on the phone and I explained the same thing to her. She just screamed at me NO breakfast. I repeated myself and said, but you all were not on time I am calling now because I really wanted to scrapbook and cheese sandwich. It’s only three minutes after you all were over an hour late so I really can’t get a breakfast sandwich and she screamed no breakfast you don’t understand??? I just cannot believe that this restaurant that has been a hometown favorite of mine for years could treat me so nasty when I was there on time however they were not. I understand that breakfast was over. I have worked in the restaurant industry all my life over 17 years and it would not be that hard to make me the sandwich, however they wouldn’t even let me finish a sentence kept cutting me off and then ultimately screaming at me and hanging up the phone. I don’t understand what happened to this place but I’ve heard recently that it’s gone downhill and that the service was terrible and that they were rude and I refuse to believe it and I started to come back and more frequently to try to support them figuring maybe they were going through a tough time but complete disrespect and lack of care and unprofessionalism is just too much I will never return and I will tell everyone I know not to as well I can’t believe that three minutes after 11 I couldn’t get a freaking egg sandwich which would take less than five minutes to make. I have probably spent thousands of dollars at this place just in the last few years alone they have lost my business forever, disgusting human beings. I have never been spoken to like that by anybody in the service industry before and I’ve had a few bad interactions, but the way that they cut me off and screamed at me and then the way she said something that I couldn’t hear fully, but I just heard stupid so I’m assuming she was calling me stupid which is so rude. This place needs to be shut down it is filthy and honestly, I’ve always heard a little dirt never hurt especially in a Chinese restaurant. It gives it more flavor lol but it really is filthy and I can only imagine what the kitchen has in the places you can’t see if the visual areas are as dirty as they are. I am so disappointed and ultimately sad because I really did enjoy these breakfast there, but I refuse to support people that would treat a regular customer support poorly. There are so many choices in annapolis so they’re really playing with fire being so nasty.

Cute little hole in the wall. Older couple own it and cook and everything and they are very nice. Prices are reasonable and cook to order. It taste like old school diner food which is hard to find these days. Easy walk as well

Cheesesteak and fries, wasn’t impressed. The fries seemed like they were sitting in grease for hours, cheesesteak was bad. Not sure where to find a good cheesesteak in Annapolis but this is not it. Customer service was good.

Stopped in for a reuben cause the name made me want one. They thankfully had a reuben lol the food was fantastic and decently priced. The man and woman running the shop were very nice. 12 bucks for a reuben and a 20oz mountain dew

The Reuben is delicious. The bread is perfectly toasted and buttered and salty. Not too much sauce. Good amount of meat and cheese. Super cheap. And the cutest, friendliest Asian couple running it.
