Good bakery in Dingboche! They had a good selection on our visit in October, especially given that there are less tourists in the area this season. Not sure that all the baked goods were super fresh but they were good. I got the chocolate chip muffin and my boyfriend got the brownie – both were warmed up and the brownie had Hershey’s syrup poured on top! Very comfortable seating and good atmosphere. We stuck around and played cards for a while. They have books and magazines and also show documentaries. It’s attached to a pharmacy and toilets are available right around the corner. Everestlink internet worked here also.

What a wonderful little oasis in the wilderness! A cappuccino (from a real coffee machine) and chocolate cake for the princely sum of 900 rps – but worth every last rupee! Lovely sunny position in the mornings. The altitude tips are a nice touch, particularly as the view is breathtaking!

I initially ordered apple crumble muffin and caffè latte – a simple order. But what I received next is even better – their hospitality. They provided a free movie-watching service, i.e. we chose and watched “Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa”, and free charging of our phones! This is considered a luxury in the mountains, so we were truly grateful. May this cafe be blessed abundantly. ❤️

Tasty pastries, free wifi, the sea buckthorn local juice tea is also really good and healthy.

Fantastic baked goods! Service was good and couches were very comfortable. We had the cinnamon roll and the Hong Kong style coconut tort — both were surprisingly excellent. Prices pretty fair for this far along the trek.

We watches the “free solo” documentary on our free acclimatization afternoon with some tea and a pastry. Very beautiful views and cozy athomsphere.

A magical experience all the way in Dingboche. Way more authentic than some French bakeries in big cities! The chocolate cake, croissant bun, butter cookies, and the hot chocolate were all delicious!

Great bakery at 4000 meters !! Thank God they have “FRENCH BAKERY” painted on the roof so we were able to spot them when we arrived into Dingboche for a rest day on our way to Everest Base Camp. Had a cappucino & a slice of apple pie. They were both incredibly good considering we were in such a remote location.

The place is nice and the owner was really welcoming, I stayed there for two days and I liked it.
But!
When I received the bill I saw that they charged me overpriced for some if the things for no reason.
For example 400 for mineral water which you can find across the street for 150.
Or for the Wifi without mentioning that I suppose to pay.
Over all I had bad experience there..

Great place to eat some pastries, have a tea, watch a documentary and charge your phone. They have wifi also. I had a chinnamon roll that was delicious.
