Party of 6 went for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday in December. The restaurant is very spacious, with multiple rooms, and we were able to find a large booth pretty easily. In true Olive Garden fashion, we were given an endless supply of warm breadsticks with creamy alfredo sauce, and I am sure I had 4 of them after my 10k run earlier. Some of us had the salad, others soup, and again, we were given a huge bowl of salad which was refilled once as well. It was pretty delicious. I had the spaghetti and meatballs entree, which was very good in both quantity and quality as well. Our server was very friendly, and kept inquiring repeatedly if we needed anything. Great experience, and before tips, it came to around 25 bucks per person, including some iced teas that some folks got.

We came for a weekend lunch, it was nice to have the order pad on each desk so you can take your time and order from there. Our waiter was super nice and helpful. Unlimited salad and bread make it better. The food was good with reasonable price and they let us take some extra bread home.

It was a very busy night but we managed to get our table within 20 minutes. Food was average, so was the service. However, the place does seem popular, with no shortage of customers

We went to this restaurant for dinner. Today is Veterans Day. When my husband’s soup was served, a staff with pigtails almost spilled it. It overflowed onto the plate. We didn’t say anything, assuming they were just too busy. But when we asked for a second glass of iced water, this staff slammed it on the table, like slamming a door to our face. I was so surprised that she’s acting so rude. It seems she needs more professional training. My husband left a 25% tip because the other staffs were very kind, although the breadsticks took a long time. My husband said he would never come here again. I think this is really rude, especially treating a veteran who served the country like that on Veterans Day!

Great place for families especially with kids. I normally would not come here because if calories and carbs but since having kids and that they love Italian food, this place hits the spot.
I would order herb salmon plate and take half of it home. Portion was generous for me. Also that they have the endless salad and soup options still so I would feel full with that already.
My kids love their mac and cheese (very cheesy) and build your own spaghetti (with meat suave and meatball) dishes. They have generous portions there too.
They have super friendly service and are super nice to kids. Very attentive and fast as well.
The atmosphere is kind of quiet so it’s nice for families, dates, gatherings… my kids are loud, so, sorry! But they offer games with their on the table tablet so that helped a bit.
Overall, my kids have been happy and full and that means a lot!

We are extremely disappointed with our recent visit to the Olive Garden location in Irvine, CA. (3755 Alton Pkwy)

Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately confronted with a strong and highly unpleasant odor throughout the premises, resembling a damp, moldy carpet smell. The intensity of the odor raised serious concerns about cleanliness and overall maintenance standards.

Equally concerning was the complete lack of professionalism in customer service. No staff member acknowledged or greeted us upon arrival. After waiting, a staff member eventually approached us in a noticeably cold and unwelcoming manner and escorted us to a section of the restaurant where the odor was even more overwhelming and intolerable.

The conditions were so unacceptable that we were forced to leave almost immediately.

This experience falls far below the standards we have previously experienced at other Olive Garden locations and is simply not what one would expect from a reputable restaurant chain. We strongly urge management to address these serious issues regarding sanitation, facility maintenance, and staff professionalism without delay.

We came here for a late Sunday lunch and it was the perfect time to come. They sat us right away and our server was really attentive and friendly, great sense of humor too. Food was exactly what we were looking for.

Came here with my husband for our anniversary, and we had tons of breadsticks and salad and we shared a fettuccine alfredo and cheese ravioli and we also had a strawberry passionfruit lemonade. All were extremely delicious! Our waitress was great, but I think in general they need to visit tables a bit less. Every minute our waitress and 2 other waitresses AND a manager kept coming. We really appreciated the attention and kindness because they were just asking if we were enjoying everything, but it needs to definitely be a little bit less because I couldn’t even have a proper convo with my husband because of it. A general problem, nothing to do with the restaurant or waitresses/waiters. Overall, loved it!

I’m genuinely disappointed with the ongoing inconsistency between what’s listed on the online menu and what I actually receive. In particular, the mashed potatoes and chicken were noticeably lacking in “MARSALA SAUCE”—something that MAKES the dish what it is. Without it, the chicken was profoundly dry and unappetizing. If I had wanted plain grilled chicken, I would have ordered that instead.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had this experience with this dish from this Olive Garden location, and it’s become frustrating. I won’t be ordering it again from here, this really ruined my dinner experience today. Olive Garden chefs, please let’s be better and more consistent to what’s provided in your photos on your online menu. Perhaps it would be more advantageous to put the sauce in a container so that we can apply ourselves in the chicken and not the majority of it in the nooks and crannies of the plastic container.

I ordered takeout on a Tuesday afternoon for a dinner-sized chicken parmigiana. Notably, this comes with two pieces of chicken parmigiana. However, when I arrived home and checked my food, I noticed there was only one piece of chicken. They gave me the lunch-sized portion instead. No biggie, the difference is one piece of chicken and less pasta which could be easily remedied with a small compensation.

I called back to alert them of the error. Matthew answered the phone and assured there were no errors because he packed my food. He even arrogantly asked me to check again to see if I missed a big, impossible-to-miss piece of chicken. Check the picture below, Matthew, if you still don’t believe me. There’s not even space to fit another chicken which is why the dinner-sized portion comes in a bigger square box instead of the circular one seen below. Anyways, we came to an agreement to send a gift card to my email as compensation.

An hour passes by and I call again to double check they had written down my email correctly because Michael often gets misspelled with Micheal. A different girl picks up and agrees to recite the email she had on her. As I suspected, she spelled out M-i-c-h-e-a-l which I then corrected, stating it is a-e-l. However, she rudely refuted saying “Yeah, that’s what I said.” She then stated that I would receive my gift card within 48 hours and if you couldn’t tell by why I’m writing this review, I never received it. I don’t know if they got my email wrong or simply just forgot.

The food was also off that day. Pasta was overcooked and they barely put any sauce making the pasta as dry as a desert, as evident in the picture. The zuppa toscana soup they gave was also 80% potatoes.

All in all, the fact that this small incident was treated with such disrespect and carelessness is shameful. It ruined my day, and now my whole week. To everyone who served me on Tuesday, servers and cooks, I am praying on your downfall.
