We wanted to give Venture Plate a try after looking at the reviews and the online menu. We ordered the shrimp tostadas and the fish tacos. I really like spicy so I added a healthy amount of hot sauce to the salsa and I thought that improved it quite a bit.
We were met and welcomed as soon as we came through the door and seated immediately. The servers were very friendly and helpful and they explained that there were items available that were not shown on the menu.
The service was excellent and they were great about preparing our items just as we preferred. It was a nice experience and well worth the trip.

One of the best margaritas I have ever had!!! All of them are fresh made – no mixes! The original lime had fresh limes and oranges. The chimi was great as well as the Hawaiian Fajitas. I highly recommend this place and plan to come back.

I’ll give our waitress credit, she did great for a party of ten with 3 children & was welcoming. It was pretty empty when we went but it was a nice place to grab a late lunch. However, my boyfriend and I’s nachos were cold & not filled with much but tortilla chips which tasted stale. I can’t speak for the others that were with us, but to advertise nachos with “crema salad and cheese sauce” and getting a plate full of chips with half a tablespoon of beef, lettuce, sour cream, two tomato slices and shredded white cheese, it wasn’t at all what we were looking to eat. It wasn’t all brought out at the same time, and for some reason the kid’s quesadilla took the longest. I don’t think we will come back again, maybe once to try the seafood since that’s what seems to be the hit here. 🙁

Waited half hour for my cheese dip and when it arrived it was cold. Chips had to different type of tortillas and refill took half hour. Paid 54 bucks for to broil shrimp and got raw potatoes, chopped hot dog meat, and a few shrimp. The lady did give me a 2 dollar discount per plate for the raw potatoes…

Great food! Great service! Very comfortable eating, and drinks. Ate with my son, and was not disappointed at all. Left feeling pleased, and comfortable from eating. Food was fresh, not dry, not greasy, and a lot of selections on their menu too. Would recommend to others.

Food wasn’t good. Salsa was watered down. The chips they put on the table were horirble. Guacamole was more like avocado slices with stuff on top. Two out of 4 of us got food poisoning from here. The rice wasn’t good. Seemed like they reheated it. I had the shrimp fajitas and they had no flavor. Servicer was ok. They had two of the workers sitting at one of the tables seemed like they didn’t wanna work. Definitely will not be back! Horrible all around.

New place in a old location believe it was Dennys at one time.Had the ribeye steak and lobster tail was very good came with small corn on Cobb and mashed potatoes.Huge Huge Menu alot of variety very tasty this was my first visit will definitely be back.You will have to give them a try and form your own opinion.Seafood,as well as Mexican dishes and American food.Enjoy.
