Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This restaurant has improved a lot from how it used to be. Awesome job taking care of lane B and all mobile app orders. The wait is shorter when you order through the app. I appreciate the good service and acknowledge the staff for stepping up and giving great customer service. I’m a regular here and the employees know me here. This is my home Whataburger and always will be. This Whataburger could be a 5 star rated restaurant if they strive to be the best in the state.

I ordered my food in drive thru which the whole process from menu board to actually getting food was approxamently an hour fifteen minutes to an hour and a half of waiting in line when i got my food it was all cold and not only was it cold but i had ordered onion rings a large and a medium and both were burnt and the medium onion ring only had four rings in it and the large a little bit more, my grilled chicken sandwich looked like they made it swim in the sauce they put on the bread which made the bread soggy and it didnt help that the sadwich was cold as well. and it wasent like i waiting to start eating my order i was in the parking lot getting it out and noticed all this. I also had orderd fries with the other order and they were not even in the bag. So because of this I ended up having to go in to talk to a manager and try to gt it right. when I go in it was horrible, they had people just standing around doing nothing, managers yelling out loudly to the crew being hateful, and customers trying to get service but no one helping them and when they ask they say were short handed yet they had employees all over just standing around in the back not doing anything. I had asked for a manager to try to get my issue fixed and one wouldnt leave drive thru area because they wanted to proceed to yell at the employees to do this or that and yet they wernt getting it done, she told one employee at the fryer to put food in bags but he was just standing there looking lost and dumbfounded.. I finally had a manager after about five minutes of waiting for one to show up and help me come up and get the issue fixed but even then i ended up with more cold food and no apology except were short staffed. 12-15 employees in the back is not short staffed. I used to work at whataburger in the past and this kind of service would never have been allowed, and its not just this location its also the lake jackson and angleton location with these same kind of issues and service time. because of all this I will not be going back to these locations because im never going to pay the outrageous prices for the food if the food isnt going to be fresh and have bad service every time. More then 10 minutes in a drive thru or even waiting inside for “FAST” food is rediculous. even worse if its going to be cold or not even get what i paid for.

Let me tell you, there is a young man by the name of Trenton that works at this location and he is so awesome. Such a welcoming smile, wonderful attitude and such good manners. This young man absolutely needs a raise. I’m sure his parents are proud of him. I want to say thank you young man. You made my day. I will definitely be back.

It really blows when you wake up and place an online order 15 before 11am so you dont miss breakfast and then pull up the the whataburger and sit around for 30 minutes with your Johnson in your hand before some employee finally tells you that your order will simply not be made. Great stuff. Really appreciate that.

They don’t want you to know this but the honey butter and biscuit buns don’t disappear at 11am. They could make it right but they choose not too

this place brings me tears of joy ,I LOVE WHATABURGER this place wouldn’t be the place it is today if it wasn’t for the one and only Lillyian oh my goodness ,I won’t be surprised if she’s the one who runs this whole joint ,not only did she take my order but she went inside the building and made my burger herself and and the fries ,my god they were bussing ,when she came out with my food in her hands it felt like I saw Jesus himself walking towards me , she’s out here serving up smiles and when I asked her if I can have a ketchup packet she said no … I can give you 2 ketchup packets and right then and there my mind was blown at how good she is at her job ,she took care of me and my co workers so perfectly that day ,she even burped me after I ate my burger like what?? 10/10 service whataburger wouldn’t be the place it is if it wasn’t for Lillyian she deserves a raise , screw Popeyes and Burger King and Taco Bell .ps anyone that writes a bad review on this place doesn’t know anything about food and should go umm kick rocks or sum

We dug into our food about 3 minutes down the highway and everything was cold to the touch. The fries were limp and the burgers were a cold sloppy mess fill with lettuce heart chunks. This was one of the worst Whataburger meals I’ve ever had. Definitely never going to this location again.

the night manager needs to do a better job leading her crew. Standing out at a car in the drive thru and talking to a family member or friend while the line backs up, because the girl who was helping take orders near the entrance of the drive thru went inside when it was busy, while you were busy blabbing is ridiculous. Not pulling people up that are at the window waiting for an order so others can pay to help the line move quicker is ridiculous. The morning manager does great, but this night manager really sucks. If you’re in here, do better lady because waiting 20 + minutes for two chicken strip meals is crazy.
