I love subway, but this was disappointing & i probably will not return to this specific one.
First, the man that made the sandwich had a bandana covering the vast majority of his face, that’s not my issue. He was also wearing a hat, that was not holding his bushy long hair back from free falling into the food, but the hat was pulled so far down you didn’t know if the man even had a face or eyes… the feeling that gave me was very unnerving.
Second, THE SANDWICH- the man mentioned above made it VERY poorly. There was barely any meat, barely any cheese, barely any toppings I requested. There was an ABUNDANCE of sauce.. So essentially I ate a sauce sandwich- literally could not taste anything but yellow mustard & bread.
Why didn’t you ask for more toppings? Because the feeling the man making my sandwich gave me from the start- I felt scared to insinuate this man was making it wrong or poorly..

When you are not paying attention to who is making your BLT. I was at the register and did not want anything other than the B-L-T. I did not realize I had to specify lettuce and tomato. I stopped in today to talk to the manager, but he was out. I explained what happened to the person that was going to wait on me and all she did was shrug. I was not looking for anything other than to make them aware and now they’ve lost a customer.

It was fun inside. Not like party kind of fun. More like comical kind of fun. There was one staff member that was yelling for the other staff member to hurry and help her. He was doing dishes. It was kind of funny. I recommend this location. I would say if you live in Chesapeake or Norfolk, this place is worth going out of your way for.

I ordered a tuna footlong in flatbread and the disappointment was real. First of all, the man making the sandwich didn’t seem to know what was tuna and had to ask the Manager. He only used 2 scoops of tuna for the entire footlong sandwich, the quality of the sandwich was nothing but disgusting.

My experience on 9/6/2021..
Arrived ordered a salad… asked for eggs as my protein..
Owner: We don’t have egg…
Me: Oh ok ( thinking they must be out)
Spinach wilted…not fresh..
Owner finshed making the salad… put everything in the bag..
Got a fountain drink… watery no flavor..(hmm.. syurp must be low today)
Ask for fork and knife…
Owner: it’s in the bag…
Check the bag when get to the car…fork but no knife… return to store
ME: may I have a knife please
OWNER: we don’t have knives…
ME: ..so how am I gonna cut my salad
OWNER: I don’t know..
ME: that makes no sense… all the vegetables are whole.. I need a knife…. well can you cut it for me?
OWNER: no
ME: that’s crazy… use one of the knives you use to cut the bread and cut my salad so I can eat it..
OWNER: No I can’t do that.. you should know that’s way it comes and we don’t have knives!
ME: ok then I don’t want it..I want a refund
OWNER: we don’t give refunds..
So then I began to yell at him and tell him how rude he is.. and EVERY Subway in America has knives to cut things… I turn to use the rest room.. and of course..signs that say out of order!
This is the rudest ..most disgusting run Subway… how you going to run a restaurant with NO operating restrooms? The facility is small and there is only one restroom…
How is he an the other staff using the restroom.. washing their hand?

Corrective Actions: PIC will discard TCS food that is at improper temperature if it is not used within 4 hours. PIC will monitor good temperatures of TCS foods in sandwich unit and will log cold holding temperatures three times a day.
40: 0240 Food prep worker not wearing hair restraint.
45: 2000 (A) (C) Single service salad containers not inverted in storage.
53: 2660 Covered waste receptacle not available in restroom.

It’s 104 degrees outside today. Major heat wave. I came to the store for lunch and was in line ordering a sub and asked for a water cup for some water. Bout to pass out from the heat and the lady behind the counter says ” No,we dont have cups. We dont have water” . I look over and the fountain machine has water. So I purchased my combo and used my cup and got some much needed water. Im shocked that she/they were so stingy they couldn’t offer a cup of water to a paying customer in this massive heat wave. After eating I went to use the restroom and it had an Out Of Order sign and was locked. I was there a few times this past month and it’s always out of order. So I left with tuna fish on my hands to go grab my steering wheel and back to the job. That’s so gross and rude. Restaurants are supposed to have restrooms. We know they just dont want to clean them.The employees are lazy and seemed racist or just had some kind of attitude. That place sucks!!

This is the Subway to get your sub!! I purchased at this store last week and the service was so exceptional, I came back today!!!! I am particular about what I want and my needs were fully met! Komal treated me so well and the food was freshly made correct to order!! I passed 3 other Subway establishments just to come see Komal and she didnt dissapoint!!
