Have you ever had food that was so good it made you physically want to hurt someone? Or how about an out of body spiritual experience? Well this place will have you wanting to smash your spouse through the window and thanking God you have taste buds. This was maybe one of the best meals my husband and I have ever had. Starting with what you would think was a simple butter flight tasting. Three flavors: lavender, grass fed, and anchovies. My mind was blown away with how elegant and tasteful these butters were! The bread was so soft, warm, and complimented the butter so wonderfully. Then we had a beet salad. Again. I had to stop myself from slapping my husband across his face. Lastly for my main meal I had their burger. This is where we met God and he slapped me in MYA FACE with how amazing this burger was. All together best meal ever. Mya the server was a peach and so kind and friendly. If you’re in the area you must stop in!!

Amazing little place. We stopped there randomly for lunch and ended up returning the same day for dinner. We really enjoyed all our dishes — the food was amazing. My wife said the burger was the best she’s had in years, and I loved the shrimp and tuna starters. The wine was great too.

I had been on the road for 10 days exploring the Central California Coast. I had been advised to go to Brydge downtown Cambria.
So glad I listened, for I had an outstanding meal in a intimate setting of a home.
The beet salad was one of the best I have had the good fortunate to have eaten.
Seriously, the meal is worthy of a Michelin Star.

What a cozy, charming setting and fabulous food. I was a party of one and had a great experience. The servers were attentive and helpful when it came to choosing wine. Most dishes can be shared. I had the amazing fresh beet and goat cheese combination which was fresh and full of flavor. I also had the pork meatballs in a slightly spicy red sauce. Highly recommend both dishes. The Brydge is a must if you want a memorable meal.
PS. I’m not a frequent review writer but this restaurant deserves praise.

Hands down one of the best dining/date night spots in Central Coast. The moment you step in, it feels like you’re embraced with a warm hug. Customer service is stellar and the ambiance is darling. The real show stopper is the food! Every dish is prepared with so much thought. The wine list is very diverse and refreshing. There’s not a bottle listed that I wouldn’t try. This was one of a handful of dinners where we didn’t feel rushed. It reminded me of dining in Europe, in the best way. We can’t wait to go back! Thank y’all for a lovely experience! Cheers!

I wish we went to Brydge the first night of our trip so we could come here everyday to try new dishes!!! Best meal of our trip by far, service was incredible and we absolutely loved every dish – standout was the Salmon! Highly recommend!!!

This is such a nice spot. The building and location is so cute and cozy, and waitress very friendly. We shared the meatballs and a steak with a side salad, and you could tell that the food was high quality, very fresh, and prepared with care. It’s a little expensive, but that’s expected with a restaurant of this quality. I’d rather pay it here than at some lifeless fancy chain. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pics of the food, since we ate it too quick, but you can see how beautiful, quaint, and historic this place is in the ambiance photos I got. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a nice dining experience on the central coast.

Brydge was a delightful dining experience from the tasty drinks (I enjoyed a nonalcoholic lavender lemonade) to the fresh beat salad and to-die-for homemade bread to the perfectly prepared salmon. My favorite was the dark chocolate pudding for dessert—chef’s kiss! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Being served by the chef is as an added treat—she is lovely! I can’t wait to dine here again. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for delicious, local food within an old historic house in Cambria.

The food was 5 stars, hands down. Everything we ordered was fantastic: the beet salad, the polenta with shrimp, the pinsa bread and butter flight, the dark chocolate pudding. Our only complaints were that the bread/butter came out last, instead of first like you would expect, and also the bench seating was not so comfortable. They definitely seemed understaffed for a busy Friday night.

**Where do I even begin?**
Brydge restaurant is one of the most beautiful restaurants we’ve ever been to. It’s a small house built from redwood trees and has been a restaurant since 1940. The lighting, music, and interior are stunning, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food was outstanding. We shared two appetizers and had the rib-eye for the main course – everything was cooked to perfection, wonderfully seasoned and prepared. Chef Elaine knows what she’s doing, and the ingredients are locally sourced. Delphine was our waitress that evening, incredibly attentive and friendly, making it hard for us to leave. If this restaurant were closer to home, we’d go weekly. Highly recommended!
