Love the atmosphere. All areas were nice. Location is great. Menu has unique selections and plenty of vegetarian options. Reasonably priced. Nice drink menu with lots of options as well. Would definitely recommend.

Loved the quirky vibe of this restaurant! It used to be an old gas station or garage, which gives it so much character. I can already imagine how lovely the outside patio will be when the weather warms up. The food was delicious – I had the Georgia Trout, and it was fantastic. We also tried the “Pewpews” (not sure if that’s the right spelling!), and they were definitely an interesting and unique taste, but in a good way! And the service? We were on a business trip and were looking for something local. We were walking through the area and Leon’s looked like a friendly and inviting establishment, so wandered in. I’m so glad we did. From the seater to the wait staff, everyone was welcoming, kind, informative, and helpful. They answered all our questions, pointed us in the right direction for what we would like to eat and their suggestions were perfect. I feel like everyone there really went above and beyond. We were lucky enough to go there twice during our visit. The tofu was AMAZING, the burgers were incredible, and the bacon with peanut butter sauce was delicious. I do hope we can go back one day.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I came on Wednesday night and got seated immediately. The host was not very welcoming however the ambiance was beautiful, they currently have Valentine’s decor around and it really sets the mood. We ordered the Trout dish and a burger with some cocktails which were phenomenal. 10/10!!! Towards the end of our stay I heard the host speaking about how she can’t stand everyone who works here and that they turned on her and she is trying to get out of here to something better. It was conversation that I didn’t expect the lady to be shouting across the restaurant while cleaning tables to another worker. I was very disappointed hearing this because to me it looked like everyone was happy and uplifting. I will most definitely stop by again hopefully she just had a bad day and we can come enjoy our visit again.

I don’t get the non-communication and slowness from the server. You ask what sauce is wanted with the burgers but you also bring ketchup that we didn’t ask for and charge .95cents for each cup that we don’t even eat! Had you said something I could have told you we didn’t need it. You let my child ask for another lemonade without saying it’s not free refills. I ask for a to go coke for my husband and you bring an empty cup for me to pour what’s left of his coke in it. You then stroll around until I have to get up because my husband has circled the block TWICE waiting for you to bring me a check. There was no reason for me to pay for another hour of parking while I wait for a check! Probably won’t be back here!

Met my wife for lunch he’s and it did not disappoint. We got there the same time as 3 other parties, but we were all seated immediately and served promptly. I was honestly pretty floored at how efficient the servers were, they obviously know their stuff.
We decided to just share a few things, and settled on the tofu, olives, and trout.
Tofu: came in a really tasty brown sauce that was a little on the sweet side, probably will order it on the side next time to let the tofu crispy. It was fresh and it was a perfect size
Olives: just some plain pitted green olives and some nuts in a lemony oil. Not bad, but not a very big serving, and not really worth the price. Probably won’t get again
Trout: absolutely incredible! We got the sauce in the side and I’m glad we did because the fish was super crispy and tasty! The vegetables were fantastic as well. Those tomatoes were bursting with flavor!

I’m crazy for not writing a review sooner! My boyfriend and I love coming here, we sit at the bar most times and the service is always amazing. V is there almost every time, and he’s the sweetest, always great recommendations, and top tier service. We met Adam today at the bar, and he went above and beyond to create a great experience for us. We’re bourbon/whiskey drinkers and we come here specifically for their old fashioneds. It’s absolutely one of the best ones around Atlanta. Consistently great! Their Vieux Carre is amazing as well. Their food is phenomenal, we always go for the burger, the steak, or the risotto. I love reading through their daily specials, there’s always a very diverse selection of new specials, and their dessert specials are so good. Their food is very obviously locally sourced, which is rare! Genuinely an amazing experience every time, I’m always happy to spend money here, I never leave disappointed!!

Nice outdoor ambience. The dinner menu is quite small but it offers something for all tastes. We had the steak and trout. Both were good but the trout was overloaded with garlic. We liked that both meals came with a variety of veggies.

Went for a weekday birthday and was very happy with the food, and the service was top tier. The bacon was bacon. It’s hard to mess that up. The peanut butter it’s served with is very mild. I didn’t like the sound of it at first, but it was actually not a huge flavor addition… and i didn’t need it to be- its bacon.
The hanger steak with hand cut fries was excellent. The crispy Brussels were perfect. Can’t speak to the mussels as I have an allergy
–but I heard they were just OK… My partner reported that the broth wasn’t rich enough to give them full flavor, and the chorizo was very, very tough (maybe dried? but a bit misplaced in the dish) All in all, we’ll definitely go back. What was misses in flavor with one dish was made up for with remarkable service.

The vibe of this place is exceptional! I love the trees out front, the sign, and the option of outdoor seating. The staff were friendly. Everyone who passed welcomed me until I was seated. My waitress, Shari, was outstanding! She was friendly, answered my questions, and even made a great drink suggestion. I enjoyed the hanger steak and fries— absolutely perfect! The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful! I did request medium well, so some people might have a different preference. The fries were the best I’ve ever had. I hope to return so that I can try something else in the future!
Edit: I returned 24 hours later! I travel for work and did a thorough exploration of other restaurants nearby. There are some great options! This area is adorable. However, after walking and perusing, I returned to LEON’s Full Service. I worked hard to avoid this because I like to review various restaurants when I travel. However, I kept being called back as it is just so unique.
I figured I would get something different on the menu. However, I chose the same dish again! I live in NY and who knows if I’ll be back this way, so I decided to enjoy the same dish twice. If you’re in the Decatur area, do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant! If in Atlanta or nearby, make the short trip!
