Went there for a light dinner and a drink and was happy about my choice! I had the Trio Platter (black bean hummus was really good), my friend had the Italian board cheese, and for a drink, I got me the Secret Handshaker which was a beautiful and scrumptious drink! The place offers a small menu for a light dinner, or to have a drink while munching on something. Patsy was an outstanding bartender and took great care of me and my friend who happens to be celiac so she has to be very careful when it is about gluten-free stuff.

My husband and I were staying at the St. Clair hotel above the Howser on vacation for our anniversary. I can’t speak about the food because we only had cocktails. The bartenders there are so sweet! We went back a second night into the speakeasy. Megan was the bartender both times we visited. It was her first week on the job and she was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the Frankfort area and she made a great old fashioned! Check this place out if you’re in the area!

Amazing service, amazing atmosphere, great drinks and food! The owner and bartender were so friendly. My husband and I were in from out of town and they shared places for us to see during our stay! We were so happy we stopped in and will definitely be back when we are in town again!

We enjoyed a night cap in the Howser Speakeasy as part of our stay at The St Clair (which was amazing) . I was a bit shocked, and expressed my displeasure, when we settled the tab. My wife was suggested an “under rated” bourbon and since we are not aficionados she accepted. The price was definitely not “under rated”. We were never given the price list and did not see one anywhere, so ask for it to avoid making our mistake.

We were in Frankfort on Sunday night and went to the Howser for drinks. It was wonderful. Newer bar. Very laidback Wonderful selection of bourbon. Our server, Patci, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. We’ll definitely stop in the next time we’re in town.

Didn’t get to order after waiting at a table for 30+ minutes. Maybe there is a special way to order. Or maybe you can only order from the bar. If that is the case, they should direct patrons to do that. The people that walked in before and after us left after not getting any service. But the bar seemed fun…

Fantastic gem in the heart of downtown Frankfort. Perfect charcuterie board, yummy drinks, and an absolutely superb, attentive staff who made us feel like old friends on our very first visit. Will definitely be visiting anytime we’re in town.

Great time, we attempted to get there a couple more times throughout the weekend it just didn’t work with our schedule. I didn’t catch the Bartenders name, but she makes the 2nd best mojito in the world (mine being the best of course)!!!
