Came on a recommendation and could immediately tell that FF was a tastefully decorated spot with some cheeky touches for a late lunch/early dinner. The waitstaff was very attentive, although one server was a bit offish. Food came out very appetizing. Loved the fresh oysters, and the candy wrapped butter and bread. Oh sooo good! Scallops were just ok on this day, but overall it was a nice experience.

There was a little bit of a wait to get a seat,obviously high demand, but it made absolute sense for a gorgeous day on a bank holiday weekend.
The staff were incredible, tenantative and it felt luxurious. You were always taken care of.
The food was fresh and tasty, I had the fried haddock! Dessert was a great addition to the end.

We went there for our 40th Anniversary dinner while visiting Kinsale on September 12, 2025. Very disappointing. This restaurant is Over-rated and Over-priced. We ordered fish and chips, expecting a feast. Instead the portions were very small, like mere appetizers.
If you want fish and chips, save your money and go to Dino’s.

We had heard many good things about this restaurant, but the food was a bit underwelming. The quality was great and very tasty, but it was not an exceptional meal. If you feel like a good meal at great value then this restaurant is a good spot. But we felt that as a seafood restaurant the fish dishes could have been a bit more innovative.
