I’ve eaten here a few times over the past few years, and it is consistently delicious while offering very fair prices. I always get a burger and fries. The decor and layout are nice. Generally it isn’t too busy, even at lunch time, and the wait for food is never too long! Stop by here if you’re in town!

I originally wrote a review a few months back and complained about the menu and the pricing method for burger toppings and the quality of the food.
Since then Classic Grill has completely redone their menu and it is a 100% improvement over what it was before. Toppings and a side are now included with burgers. They offer much more of a selection now, with lots of signature burgers and sandwiches, and the new menu items are good. Reasonable prices as well.

Food is great, but the service is not. Went during lunch. Only one waitress (short hair/high schooler?) appeared to actually be working and the rest were just standing around. Got the food in an acceptable amount of time. What wasn’t okay is physically having to get up to ask at the front for a refill because our drinks were empty for 10 minutes. I won’t blame our waitress because she appeared to be the only one doing work in the whole place, but the rest of it is inexcusable.
My boss told me the place served good food but the service was bad. That was a year ago so we decided to try the place out. Looks like it will be another year until we go again. Hopefully things will have changed for the better by then.

My brother-in-law had been here a number of times and thought it was a great place. We were very disappointed with our visit, which was for my birthday. At least eight tables came in after we did, ordered their food and got it. We finally asked someone if they could check on our order. We find out the waitress had not placed the order. No apology or anything. Food was delicious but service was not. I truly hope this was an off day because we drove an hour to eat.

One of the best places to eat in town of Blackstone. My siblings won the Halloween costume contest and was rewarded with two free kids meal. The food was excellent and the prices were even better. The portion sizes were greater than the McDonald’s Kids Happy meal and less expensive.

The food was very over priced,and the quality was terrible. It is in no way but the Classic Grill if used to be. Ever since the previous manager Carol left, the place has been on a downhill run. All their burgers are pre-cooked early in the morning, and left soaking all day and beef broth. All their side items other than stuff they have to make fresh like french fries or onion rings are old and reheated in the microwave. But they still charge you a premium price for their food. I haven’t been there much after Carol left and it’s been a long time since I’ve eaten there almost 6 months, and just as I suspected it’s only gotten worse. They completely changed the entire menu and the quality of their food is terrible, the prices are so high you would think you’re at Bryan’s Steakhouse. And the service was very terrible as well. I will never return to that restaurant again, I understand that Blackstone doesn’t have much to offer when it comes to choice of restaurants. But I can honestly say that anywhere would be better than going to the Classic Grill!! If you are reading this I hope you trust what I say, but if you’re one of those kind of people that have to find out for yourself all I can say is good luck. One time is all it’s going to take for you to see that what I said was completely true. Overpriced old food undercooked fresh food and terrible service is what you will receive from the Classic Grill in Blackstone Virginia.

Three stars because the food is good. Have gone there twice now and both times they have gotten my order wrong. This time I was the only customer. I asked for and paid for cheese fries. I got plain fries and had to remind them to add cheese to one of the sandwiches. Twice.
