This waffle spot is all about quick service and tasty food. The waffles come out fresh, flavorful, and just what you’d expect when you’re craving something satisfying without the wait. Don’t expect much when it comes to ambience—it’s not a cozy café where you’ll linger for hours. The focus here is fast, good food, and they deliver on that. If you love the idea of grabbing comfort food quickly and enjoying it without fuss, this is the place.

Iconic spot for a late night road trip break. Best waffles. Perfect diner coffee. Immaculate vibes. Good prices. Also… Open late. Free parking. Both things that can be hard to find in the Keys! ☕️

Wish I could give this 100 stars. My husband and I are down in the Keys for a wedding and on our way to a cocktail night the gasp I gusped going down the road almost made him slam his breaks thinking there was an animal. But the only animal was the feral raccoon within me when my eyes spotted a real life Waffle House. These are not around where we are from. I’ve always been a Denny’s gal (no shade to iHop). But even I knew this short 48 hours in FL filled with love and laughter had a small void to be filled; and only Waffle House could do that. We went around 11:30am and were greeted instantly by Angelina. We sat at the counter so we could watch the action. The harmony between the team was that of something you only see on Gordon Ramsey shows (the ones where the cooks actually know what they’re doing). No computers to type in tickets, just the calling out of waffles, hashbrowns, steak. The coffee was a normal diner coffee, but the magic of a Waffle House mug elevated it to that of a coffee only a king could drink. We are not ones to finish all of our food, but my husband and I (and that raccoon inside me) ate every single bite. The star of the show for me was the hashbrowns, smothered with onions, cheese, and country gravy; a hungover girl’s dream. I was also shocked that the food was fresh fresh. Saw the chef Tory take a steak out of a fridge and chop it himself for my husbands cheesesteak breakfast platter. Never seen anything like it for a chain breakfast joint, my mind was blown. Chef Tory cooked like he was the symphony conductor who also played all the instruments. Angelina was attentive, kind, and engaged with all other patrons while also stepping up to help her coworkers with anything else. The other server, Daniela, was also very attentive and funny, working with Angelina and Tory to make things efficient and delicious. Waffle House seems to be a name that gets a lot of eye rolls, like the black sheep of breakfast chains, but I tell you now if I ever become a rich woman, I will buy a time share in Key Largo just to go to this Waffle House. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk 100000/10.

Very friendly hosts (greeted as you arrive, and Thanked for your business on the way out…). Yes, it’s a chain, but even chains can offer great food for my money. I’m a breakfast guy, 2 eggs over easy, with sausage patties and grits. While the food is not gourmet, the service provided more than makes up the difference. Everyone should visit a Waffle House…

Came to eat and when we finally sat down it was 5 adults 1 child, and was told only 5 people in a booth…..no explanation as to why. We were also in the booth in the back corner not in anyones way either. We simple got up and left and this waffle has lost my business for good. Never had an issue at other Waffle houses before.

This is the best breakfast for dinner on the face of planet Earth. Morgan + Asia gave two naive Canadians the full Waffle House experience. It was so damn good that I’m not fully convinced that it wasn’t a dream.

This is the only waffle House in the Florida keys and it’s right on one coming through key largo.. if you missed this one you’re not going to get bacon and eggs that are of any count for a long time… The staff here will make you feel like part of the family.. I truly would give them a lot more stars if I could but five is all they’re giving me to throw at you
