My family and I were driving to Mackinac Island and found this place to grab a bite on the way. So glad we came here! Food was delicious. Price was fantastic. We even got to get a picture with one of the owners! What a sweet guy. He even gave us a free appetizer to try (Whitefish dip? Super good!)
After lunch we got to play disc golf. These people have provided such a relaxing environment for everyone to enjoy. Thank you for making our visit great!

Absolutely loved it ,the shrimp was very well seasoned. The location is very outdoorsy and peaceful. The full order of shrimp is definitely enough for two. The wife and I kept saying this next piece will be my last, but it wasn’t.

The Shrimp Shack is awesome! Food is fabulous and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate guests. I love the atmosphere. I truly felt like I was at a local fish shack in the Virgin Islands. One of the overall best experiences I have had at a restaurant in Michigan in a long time. I highly recommend.

The best peel and eat shrimp, Cajun crab dip and hush puppies I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is really cool. There is nothing only outdoor seating with a band on Friday nights. Some items go quickly, so go early if you want the white fish dip. The entire experience was great. We loved it so much we went back the next night.

Food great and is unlike anything else in the area . Always 1 or 2 new dishes each week . Service is outstanding ! Outdoor seating is the best but they do have a covered area if the weather sucks .

Went to dinner at the Shrimp Shack in Higgins Lake yesterday and it was awesome! Delicious food, great outdoor setting, and a tasty margarita to complement dinner. We split the 1/2 order of shrimp, fries and hush puppies for $25. You can’t feed two adults for $25 anywhere these days and it was wonderful. Perfect (and much needed) addition to the area!

Long wait but sooooooo worth it. They were out of a lot of things when my boyfriend and I went.. but that’s ok. This was the best shrimp I ever had in my life. Very generous portion.. FRESH. We will be back next season!! I am hoping to try the crab then
