You can choose from upstairs, indoor dining with a spectacular view of the bay. You can also choose seating in the lower open terrace area that has just as good a view. The only difference is the menus (more limited downstairs). You honestly cant go wrong with either choice and thats based on preference, weather etc. This place just has “it” and is not as well known as the other waterfront restaurants in the keys. Give it a try and you’ll be glad you read that guys review on Google.
The service was good, a bit slow when they get busy, but thats expected.
The atmosphere is great im terms of ocean breeze and sunset views, buttttt the music can be a bit loud, so if that isn’t your vibe, you will want to grab a picnic table out by the water.
The service was slow, which can be annoying, but we were not rushing. Y aun así the drinks were really good and fit the energy of the golden hour.
The food was average, nada del otro mundo but decent enough. And honestly, that did not matter because this place became a sort of therapy session for both of us. We sat there having one of those deep spiritual conversations that you do not plan but somehow appear exactly when you need them, especially before a Monday.
Parking was easy, which is already a blessing in Florida, and even though the place was busy, we still had our little bubble of peace. I would definitely come back. Any place that gives us space to decompress and reconnect is a place worth keeping.
The blue crab chowder was great. The Bayside salad had a strange taste (over ripe oranges?) so I couldn’t finish it. The shrimp on the salad were great, but pricey. $16 I believe.
The coconut shrimp were a true disappointment: no crunchy coconut. Just plain breading without a hint of coconut flavor.
The place is tricky to find.
The sunset view was excellent.
