Wonderful place to watch beach life and to have superior Aperol Spritz or a delicious dinner. I can highly recommend the Spritz, it is really worth the price. We had grilled sardines. Outstanding! We twice made the long walk from Royan city and were thrilled!

This place has a prime location with a great view. The menu is attracting and the staff is very friendly. The only problem is that our food was average. The beef patty was not cooked enough (even though they put the “well done” tag on it) and I couldn’t finish my Caesar salad as there was way too much dressing. We might try something else and modify the review if we get better quality next time.

Very disappointing service. Table offered with crumbs and inattentive service.The waitress was oblivious to the contents of the menu and the chef had left at 10pm. Gravalax Salmon was cube cuts of salmon without seasoning or herbs. The ‘Manager’s intervention lacked any care and manners. Dommage – we will never return again despite being regulars in the town. The quality and ambiance in this restaurant have decreased m, sadly. Empty at 10pm.

I have eaten there a few times and I have always found the staff terrific. They always treat you well, and nothing is too much trouble. They have a brasserie and a main restaurant. The first one deals with cheaper meals like hamburgers, fish, spaghetti etc but the restaurant is in a really beautiful setting with a view of the beach and sea from most table settings. The meals are changed, I think on a daily basis and up to the standard you would expect from the chef who worked on a cruise ship and the price is very reasonable around €25 for three courses plus amuse bouche during the service. The price goes up on weekends so unless it’s a special day visit during the week

La Jabotiere was as wonderful as ever. The food is a delight, well balanced and a work of art. The staff are so professional and friendly. I can find no fault with this dining experience and would recommend the restaurant and the bistro attached to anyone wanting a good meal in wonderful surroundings and good value for money

A premier view and location. If you’re looking for a quick drink with friends, it’s a great location for it. Staff was friendly and made some fantastic drinks. We didn’t get a chance to try the food but we will be back.
