Wonderful hidden gem! Unaware they were about to close, a party of 7 of us walked up to the door. When we saw they closed in 10 min, we didn’t want to be rude so we started to walk away, and that’s when owner welcomed us in out of the rain, seated us, and happily told us to stay a while, dry off, and get our bellies full. We all ordered burgers, which were delicious, fresh, topped with locally sourced veggies, and our choice of a variety of cheeses. The beer battered fries were really good also!
This place is hidden in the small town of Burnsville, WV with virtually no advertisement…so to find it, you’ll likely need to know where the local NAPA store is, or ask one of the locals. We found it very much worth the hunt, and will certainly stop there during future visits to our family in the area. If you’re looking for a fuss-free, no frills, yet incredibly fresh, bistro-esque, taste….this is your place to stop that is a diamond in the rough among all the fast food joints and greasy spoons between Flatwoods and Weston!
