When we walked in, there were two hosts at the front. They didn’t greet us, smile, or acknowledge us until I told them we needed a table for two. Not the warmest first impression. However, we were seated fairly quickly, and our chips and drinks came out right away.
Despite how busy it was, our server was kind, attentive, and overall great. We ordered two micheladas, which were really good, and the fajitas were delicious—definitely the highlight of the experience. The music was also a nice touch and added to the atmosphere.
On our way out, the same hosts were chatting among themselves and didn’t say a word—not even a “thank you for coming.” Customer service at the front definitely needs improvement, especially since the hosts are the first and last faces guests see.
Overall, I would go back for the food, but I hope the hosts work on their customer service.
We ordered shrimp fajitas, steak fajitas, guacamole, and a platter that included an enchilada, a taco, rice, and refried beans. The refried beans were surprisingly tasty! For dessert, we had tres leches cake and flan—both were very sweet, but if you have a sweet tooth, you’ll love them. I don’t usually go for very sweet desserts, but they were still quite good.
One thing that surprised us was that the food wasn’t spicy at all. We enjoy spicy food, so we expected a bit more heat, but everything was quite mild.
Drinks-wise, we had skinny margaritas. They were okay—not amazing, but decent.
In terms of pricing, the total for four people, including tip, was just over $200 (about $50 per person). Given the quality and quantity of food, we found this to be very fair.
Overall, a solid choice for Mexican food with good value. Would I rush back? Maybe not, but the rest of my group enjoyed it more than I did. Worth trying if you’re in the area!
Overall i would come again for lunch but not daily lunch. My budget cant spend $20 daily for lunch yet.
PSA, if you are looking for very spicy salsas, the ones included with the chips are not spicy. Order the habanero salsa which is VERY spicy
