The food was simple yet flavorful and served piping hot. This place is no frills, just flavor. There seemed to be some conflict amongst the staff, mostly on the part of the older man, though. That was a major distraction. If they were more attentive to their behavior in front of the public, the atmosphere would be much improved. I get the idea it’s a family business. The young man at the counter was very, very polite and helpful with my order of a meat free dish.

I would go back for take out for sure, based on the food and the convenient location. I got the Singapore Mei Fun with no shrimp, pictured. It was great, and just what I was looking for. Healthy portion made for leftovers for me. Definitely had a kick but not too spicy. Expect to purchase a canned or bottled soda or bottled water and to self serve those, as well as the plastic utensils. Food was served in plastic ware. Didn’t bother me, just being clear for others who may expect more.

Food was extremely bland. Ordered chicken fried rice & broccoli beef. Both were below average. Here is a picture of the chicken fried rice.

Moo Goo Gai Pan from Dragon City on S. Webb Rd.. The last time I was here, I kinda had a bad experience. But it’s been over a year since my last visit, and the people who work there are wonderful and deserve my business. But this time around, the food was better than expected. Flavors were basic but still came together well. There was yellow fried rice in the bottom of the bowl, which I’m a sucker for. Vegetables were cooked perfectly, and made this dish even better. I’ve never ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan before, and it’s something I plan on getting again in the future.

Had Dragon City for the third time today since starting my blog. I looked over the menu to see what I’d try next. I came across Egg Foo Young, something I’ve never tried before, anywhere. It was on the lunch special menu. Ended up costing me around nine dollars which wasn’t a bad deal. I had no clue what it would entail. It was basically like a fried egg patty with chicken and onion inside. They did have four choices of meat, but I went with chicken. There was a side of what I would consider being gravy. As I poured it on, the thick liquidly loveliness spread all over the top of it. It made the Egg Foo Young a completed meal. Of course there was yellow fried rice at the bottom of the bowl. I’m such a sucker for it. I honestly didn’t expect much at first sight, but after tasting it, I’d have to say it is now on the favorites list as far as things go at Dragon City. And like always, the crab rangoon was fresh, crisp, and stuffed with cream cheese.

Dragon City had some promising elements, but ultimately fell short. The food was grilled fresh, which I appreciated, but unfortunately it was very bland and lacked the flavor you’d expect from Chinese cuisine. The service was adequate and the atmosphere was okay – nothing special, but nothing terrible either.

With so many other Chinese restaurants in town offering better taste and value, I won’t be returning to this location. There are just too many alternatives that deliver on flavor.

Pros: Fresh preparation
Cons: Bland food, doesn’t stand out from the competition

The food was okay for the price. However, I would recommend you only order food to go. My friends and I decided to dine in. But there were little kids sitting in the booths playing video games, screaming and laughing so loud we could barely hear each other talk. The guardian or parental figure for these kids seemed to be the woman behind the register. She not once told them to keep it down or tend to them at all.

I ordered the Shrimp w/Lobster Sauce and a side order of Crab Rangoon. The food was good and the dinning area was neat and clean. It’s a little cozy place that’s tucked away in a corner. My only gripe was that the meal didn’t come with any utensils nor do they have any available to help yourself!

This has been a family favorite of ours for years! The food is ALWAYS consistently delicious. I often order the Lo Mein as vegetable instead of meat- it’s the best I’ve ever had. Black Pepper Chicken can’t be beat, and the Rangoon are my favorite in the area. Great Value, Great Food, just an overall Great Place!

I was hoping to see sauteed eggplant or steamed dumplings or spicy string beans on the menu being a Chinese restaurant.
I will return in case I am being too critical.
Very clean, good customer separion, post COVID precautions still in place so, you can ensure ultimate safety.

Ordered Buddha Delight and found myself very delighted! It’s hard to find delicious vegetarian food when I’m traveling, and this was better than average.

Went in for lunch, they have some little kid taking orders on a baby monitor, I ordered pepper steak and got what ever this garbage is…..the pork fried rice was edible at best. Worst food I’ve had in a long time!

I’m editing this review to add the following:
So after the food has had some time to try and settle, it’s just sitting there as my gut is refusing to accept this garbage, I’m sure once it does finally enter the gut I’m going to have explosive diarrhea that wouldn’t even compare to what Schaeffer’s light beer will give you the next morning…..I know my afternoon will be unpleasant as having hemorrhoid surgery during a colonoscopy cleanse coupled with a vasectomy with lingering testicular nerve damage
