One of the best Thalis I’ve had in recent times for sure. We went on a weekday, no wait, plenty of parking available. Every item on the thali plate was soo tasty!! Especially the pappu, kovakkai fry, and vathakuzhambu were our favorite items. Totally worth the price paid! Ended our meals with a delicious filter coffee – only thing is I wish they hadn’t pre added sugar in the coffee, it was a bit too much – but nonetheless good end to our lunch. Totally recommend for a South Indian, homely meals here. Will be back again!

Ananda Bhavan is my go-to South Indian restaurant. I’m a regular and love their idly, dosa and parotta. Food is always fresh, tasty and satisfying. The food is consistently good, which keeps me coming back every time. Highly recommended!

You must try live pani puri here. And ragda is Jain, so you can eat if you follow Jain diet. Just tell them no onion.
Also we tried their podi dosa and Benne podi dosa and it was really good. They can make Jain sambhar(without onion and garlic).

Love the sambhar here.
Onion Rava Masala dosa is my favorite dosa here, do give it a try.
Kids love the Mini Idlis and Chocolate dosa.
Staff is friendly and polite.
They also have a live pani poori counter, and other yummy snacks too.

Thoughtful Kolam Decor adds to the vibe of this place. We visited Sri Ananda Bhavan followed by a Hindu temple visit. The food did not disappoint here! We were here on the weekday evening so the place wasn’t crowded and we got the table without any wait.
They have an outside patio where they serve Panipuri, Masalapuri and other snacks like Bun Maska Chai etc. We tried Panipuri and it was really good. We had Masala Puri too. Us being from Pune-Mumbai we expected a different dish but this Blore style Masala Puri was really tasty.
Indoor we had coconut Masala Dosa, which was least favorite of all the things we tried here. Freshly grated coconut might taste better in this dish.
Onion Uttapa and chatanis were good. We also liked the filter coffee here.
I definitely recommend this place and we will come back when in the area.

Went their for Ganesh Chaturthi special Thali. Overall great price for so many items. Taste was decent. Service could be better. They were missing couple of items on 2 thalis out of 4 we ordered. Overall cleaniness was good. All Vegetarian place.

Really enjoyed Anand Bhavan. The food was great, the staff was super friendly, and everything felt fresh. I liked knowing they don’t reuse oil, you can taste the difference. The pani puri especially stood out, very close to real Indian street food. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent sambar, rava upma, rava khichdi, dosai, chutneys. We ordered the mega combo and got to taste multiple items and all of them very super tasty! We requested sambar refills 3 times! So yumm. Will definitely repeat to try out other dishes

Excellent place for authentic South Indian vegetarian food, especially if you’re craving flavors that truly feel like home. The Benne Dosa is a standout—perfectly buttery and crispy on the edges with a soft, fluffy inside, tasting exactly like the ones from back home in Karnataka. The benne melts right in and is super aromatic, while the coconut chutney and sambar are fresh, well-balanced, and complement the dosa perfectly.

Non descript interiors, but good quality south Indian food. The menu has all the typical south Indian items. They also have a special thali that changes from time to time.
