We had a quick lunch here before returning on the bus – the restaurant is by the arch as you go out of the old city centre. It was busy with tourists and had menus in a large number of languages. The servers were all very friendly and efficient, having time to chat to visitors while at the same time realising that people often don’t have much time and providing quick service. A large range of food, and a San Marino beer – worth stopping here even on a short visit.

Set on the corner of an ascending alley with a breathtaking view of the valley, this is very much a tourist spot, but one with a bit of heart. The menu comes in many languages, and the atmosphere is lively.
We chose it after noticing the thin pizzas being served, just the way we like them. Along with pizza, we had a starter of affettati misti, a very generous portion served with focaccia. The meal was abundant, and at the end we were offered limoncello and pistachio cream, a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.
Service was friendly and reasonably fast considering the constant flow of customers. Overall, good value for money, though we would stick to the pizza.

We ordered three pasta to share(2 adults and 2 kids). The spaghetti is delicious and it’s on the chewy side. Ravioli filled with spinach and cheese in meat sauce is light and yummy.

Not sure how this is so highly rated. First red flag – the tour bus guide suggested we go to bolognese which to me suggested a kick back more than authentic recommendation.
We went anyway because it was rated 4.4 and reviews seemed favorable.
Yes the service is good. No the food is not great. We tried many things. – pizza was undercooked (we saw other request it cooked well which may be a key to better tasting pizza), pasta was average, sauce was minimal, and no one from the table of six was impressed.
Sorry I wish it was better. Can’t suggest this a great spot.

We had an amazing experience today in Ristorante Bolognese. As per the special request they have served veg Pizza, Vegan sauces, Ravioli and finally we had Sweets of Love. Cheese and Olive oil toppings are great.

Food is average, freshly made, definitely good but not necessarely special. We had the meat menu and the fish menu. Not great not terrible. The tiramisu was very good though, rich & creamy. The service was very good, waiters really had a friendly attitude and guided us through the menu, helping us decide what to order based on our preferences. They have a really big menu so help was needed to decide haha. At the end we received a 150ml bottle of limoncello and 150ml bottle of pistachio liquor on the house. We spent some more time here after our meal, enjoying these really good drinks, and the ambiance was really sweet, there was hearty italian music playing and a nice view of the street in front of us on a pleasantly rainy day.

My wife and I visited a week ago for lunch. She ordered bruschetta and then lasagne (12 euro), both of which were AMAZING. Lasagna maybe the best I have ever tried. I ordered the fish menu, with one of the most superb cold seafood salads as an appetizer, which was followed by the tiramisu (also included in the menu) that my wife called – the best one she tried. All of that and half of liter of wine, with a bottle of water for around 55 euro.
After eating we received a complimentary (I’d say homemade) limoncello and pistachio liquor that was as amazing as everything else. Thank you for the lovely meal, you’re amazing!
P.S. this restaurant is a dog friendly place!
