El Caribe Restaurant is such a hidden gem — and the fact that it’s right next to the salon I go to makes it even more dangerous in the best way. Every single dish I’ve tried has been amazing, but their oxtail (rabo encendido) available in Saturday is truly outstanding — tender, rich, and full of flavor, but not much fat like other places I’ve tried.
Today I had the lentils and they were absolutely delicious as well — comforting, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. Honestly, everything on the menu has been consistently great.
On top of the food, the service is always warm, fast, and genuinely friendly. You can tell they really care about their customers.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for incredible food and great service in a relaxed, neighborhood spot.

This restaurant is outstanding! The churrasco with mofongo was delicious and I also tried a pollo à la brasa … a first timer If you eat soup then this is the place to be. My wife is very picky about food and this is the only place that she will eat beef soup The service is excellent. They are always smiling and making sure that we get everything that we ordered.

I come to Caribe more times than I can count. This is a neighborhood meet-up spot. Whenever I go, people see others that they know and so many families go on a regular basis that you start recognizing each other. The wait staff is always very nice, quick, and attentive but especially Agripina. She is without a doubt the best part of Caribe. She easily makes friends with everyone and makes sure we are all taken care of. She moves fast and no matter how many people are there, she doesn’t forget about you or anything you needed. We always look forward to going to Caribe and a big part of that is thanks to Agri!
