I was one of only a few customers in this location during a 90 minute visit while killing time waiting for a family member to arrive. The Eggs on the Eggs Benedict were overcooked, but still the dish was full of flavor and the hash browns were nicely browned. I also had 2 hotcakes that were typical fare. My waitress Ashley was very attentive and friendly; I only wish she had more customers. I’ll definitely visit this location the next time I am in Punta Gorda.

UPDATE: We went back yesterday to see if there was any improvement. There wasn’t. Both meals arrived with the hashbrowns covered in black griddle flecks, looking like they’d been scraped out of the garbage. My husband’s waffle was so overcooked, it crumbled when he tried to eat it. The cooks clearly don’t clean the griddle or care at all about presentation. We told this to the waiter. His solution was to take one of our teas off the bill. My husband said “never again.”
This IHOP has really gone downhill. Used to be decent but today was just an awful experience. Our hashbrowns were burned, my husband had eggshell in his over medium eggs and got a dirty fork in his silverware wrap, my grandson’s pancakes were so tough I couldn’t cut them, and the chicken fried steak tasted like a freezer. The only thing good was the unsweet tea. We asked for to-go teas and, despite having regular 24-oz to-go cups in plain sight, the server gave us to-gos in small disposable coffee cups. We will stick to our local favorites like Toulas and Elena’s from now on. Much better quality for less money.

We were seated quickly.. our waitress was spread thin and it was seen in no utensils, no refills of coffee, looking for our own sugar for the coffee,the long wait after we received food for the rest of my breakfast.. she was friendly though and that was appreciated. The good was hot and tasted great.. pancake with cheddar bacon omelette, blueberry pancakes and fried eggs, bacon and sausage links . Highly recommend visiting here for a good breakfast.

Hostess Sunday evening, she’s always wonderful, really great service, had everything in the bag ready and grabbed other condiment request with a smile; great service and great food not taken for granted, this is a hidden diamond location with amazing food worth the drive, simply order online and head on over, then find a parking spot nearby because the food ain’t making it home :))

The staff was busy and ignore sitting me. A couple walked in after and was seat. When I finally got someone’s attention they said I was last on the list which was not true. I reported this to the manager Jane and she was more then welcoming to me took care of me like gold. Wanted to serve me herself and sat me down immediately with coffee in hand to say she changed my entire perspective would be an understatement. When her staff failed she immediately corrected the situation. Thank you Jane

We came into IHOP and was greeted by a woman in the kitchen cooking. She said we would be helped right away and we were.
Food was great. Ashley was awesome, very attentive , and great attitude! And Jane the manager came out and made sure we were taken care of.
And she makes the best omelettes!

It’s an ihop, same as all the others, just in this specific one they gave me the smallest amount of fries possible so that was a little disappointing. Not food ruining but could be better, everything else tasted fine

I love coming to this IHOP!! Ashley was amazing although she was busy, she still gave 5 star service! She had some help bringing our food to us from Michele, she was our waitress last time and she was amazing too!!! very accommodating, especially with my mother and her wheelchair !
