We decided to attend Mooney’s Pizza for their opening day and had an amazing experience! They have a large parking lot so parking was very easy. The inside of the restaurant had a cool diner vibe with comfortable seating. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part about our experience at Mooney’s was the pizza. We ordered the pan style ragu pizza and this pizza completely blew me away. We will definitely be coming back to Mooney’s for more!

It was over all ok I get it they just opened but the pizza was very thin. They don’t have a kids menu and with that in mind a side of fries was $7 but the portion size that is for a child it’s basically one serving. So we paid $14 for fries and still it wasn’t enough for 5 people even as a side. We got our salad had no plates to share or silverware so had to flag someone down. Hoping to come back but maybe as a date night not with the kids.

Long Beach has been waiting for a place like Mooney’s. The pizza is legit, the beer and wine list is thoughtfully curated, and the custard is perfect. Beyond the food, Mooney’s has brought to Long Beach/Los Alamitos a uniquely elevated neighborhood spot with real personality and soul.

Great pizza crust and the custard is just like how it is in the mid-west super thick and creamy. Haven’t been able to find good custard like this anywhere in socal! The place opened less than a week ago but you wouldn’t even know it! The staff were great and food came out super fast! Ignore that karen’s review who gave them 1 star for only taking reservations rn- ofc they’re doing that they just opened! it’s smart business! i already have another reservation booked for next week!
