Kristal was fantastic. We are weary travelers and walking into a gas station that we are not familiar with being greeted by somebody so friendly and cheerful was a breath of fresh air The coffee was out, and she quickly started a fresh brew and found me in the store to let me know that it was done so that I could get a cup before the rush of people filling up cups/containers. She was talking to guests very cheerful a bright smile on her face telling everybody good morning and happy new year.
My very first time in that gas station, and it was a very pleasant experience. We will no longer drive by to another station.
The store was clean and maintained very nicely and everybody was very friendly especially Kristal.

For more than 40 years, i used to deliver produce to over 100 restaurants on the Mississippi gulf coast. Every now and then, when I made, deliveries, I would see unsanitary things, in some of the restaurants that I delivered to! Not all of them was unsanitary, for the most part, a lot of my customers really went out of the way to keep things clean and sanitary! I live about 20 miles from dodges Southern style, 25th Ave., in Gulfport Mississippi so I don’t make it down that way too often, but tonight I stopped in to buy a cigar, And I was absolutely in disbelief at what I saw on the southside, Of the building , in and on the window panes, and what was showing behind the drink stations! I have seen some crazy unsanitary things over the 40 years that I delivered to restaurants But what I saw tonight, most definitely blew my mind! There is, absolutely not one excuse that can be used to explain what I saw! It is there for God and everybody to see it! the pictures that I took proves that this has been that way for quite a long time! It appears that it hasn’t been cleaned sense The first day that they opened! I can’t believe that someone hasn’t complained about this before now! I can’t believe that the health department has never seen this! This just didn’t happen last week! I must say, that I have seen dumpsters cleaner and more sanitary than what is behind the drink machines! The dust is an inch thick on the machines, and the black stuff that you see in the pictures, is black, mold! And we wonder why we all walk around sick all the time! Well take a good look at the pictures that I have posted and decide for yourself! Kind of makes me wonder what the inside of the machines look like? Coffee machine, ice, machine, and the fountain drink machine! Be sure and go sign up for the beverage. All you can drink each month club ! Yummy, yummy! Get you some of them tater logs while you’re at it! This is a case of just don’t give a damn! It is to my understanding, that the mold and dust behind the drink machines, has been cleaned up and taken care of! The whole point of my review, was to show people that if someone allowed this to happen in full view to the public, what does things look like in places that you can’t see! Stopped here to get a nap before getting back on the road. I was really impressed by the setup. It’s extremely clean and rather cozy on the inside. The restrooms were clean. The dining area with TVs are a nice touch.

I ride a motorcycle well I come here to get fuel and gas and had my backpack on the gentleman informed me that I must take my backpack off and leave it up front out of my line of sight whilst I shop to get a drink and buy food at the front counter I should not have to leave everything that is on me there is personal effects in that bag I would not suggest shopping here if you were a motorcycle rider at all they are very rude and disrespectful the gentleman told me he did not care well I’m sorry they do not have a sign of stating no bags allowed so therefore it is legal to carry a bag in the store so therefore he is in the wrong since it is not publicly stated anywhere on the building this is discrimination against bikers and anyone that carries a backpack are they doing this to school children as well do not shop here do not shop here boycott Dodges in Gulfport on 49

We stopped in the store last night because my granddaughter was having an asthma attack and we need to plug in her breathing treatment machine and unfortunately they didn’t have a plug out in the store but the nice lady behind the counter plugged in the machine and bring it around the counter and brought a crate for my granddaughter’s still on and all the clerks and cashiers were all just attentive and just asking us if we needed anything and making sure she was okay they just went out of their way to show kindness and we greatly appreciated the kindness they show to us and my grandbaby. Miss Carolyn and Ms Brianna we love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Terrible attitude at the check cashing counter. She was rude from the time she saw us standing. And of course she was no help at all. Went to Walmart and found much better service and rate $8 vs 4.25%. Don’t bother with dodges, not even for their over priced chicken
