Just tried The Thai Peppers during their soft opening and really enjoyed it. The menu is limited for now, but the food was very good and the portion sizes were generous. We ordered the pad see ew and pad kee mow—both were flavorful and satisfying. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The space is small with just a few tables inside, but it has a cozy, inviting feel. We did takeout this time and everything traveled well. Looking forward to coming back as they expand the menu!

As an avid thai yellow curry eater, I recommend you go to thai & vine. This place gives you hardly any rice and most places I am able to have leftovers in curry & rice. The curry tasted like it had old bay in it and cheap spices. I also was not impressed with the veggies in their curry. Just onion and grape tomatoes.

Small menu for now while they are new to the scene. Enjoy our togo dinner at home. We also had chicken larb which is the star of the show. Forgot to take picture. Definitively will return for more!

I was so excited to see that Thai Pepper was opened in Southport. I ordered the lunch special Thai fried chicken and rice. My food almost had a scorched taste to it. Almost like they needed to clean the grill. I wasn’t able to eat it.
I will try again at a later date. I hope the food becomes similar to the restaurant from the past. I loved that place !

Checked out The Thai Peppers during their soft opening and really glad we did! The menu is small for now, but the food was good and the portions were large. The staff were kind and welcoming. Inside is small but cutely decorated. We ordered takeout and enjoyed it at home. Definitely nice to have another solid takeout option in Southport.

The portions are about half the size of the recently closed Indochine but at the same price. The atmosphere, A few dinky, awkward tables but pretty much a takeout place. We ordered two entrees which came to almost $40 with tip and it didn’t fill either of us up and no left overs like we’re used to from Indochine. The curry flavor was good but a little watered down. The chicken fried rice was very simple but not in a good way.

A great place for Thai takeout! The crab rangoon, yellow curry, ginger chicken, and Thai fried rice were delicious! Portion sizes are big and you get a lot of protein! Giving 4 stars because I had to find their menu and phone # on Facebook. They just need to update their Google info

We were excited to try it since we loved the downtown Southport location that closed several years back. Unfortunately this place lost a lot in the move. The food was extremely bland including the ginger salad, spring rolls and garlic chicken. Perhaps they are working the kinks out, but it was really below even average.

Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The pad Thai was bland. The curry fried rice was just not good and had an extremely unpleasant smell. The only shining star was the tofu. Every Thai restaurant I have ever been to has asked how spicy/hot we wanted our meals, but this was never an option here. We ate less than half the food and threw the rest away. Hopefully, they continue to develop the menu and bring the complexity that Thai food is known for.

We got take out last night and we were disappointed! We ordered chicken pad see eew! It was dry, not seasoned enough and the chicken was dry. We have heard how good the food is, but we let down. We were hoping this would be a new go-to for us!
